I am Mevlana.
We gave path to the one who comes,
We gave hand to the one who laughs,
We gave heart to HIS rose, [we fell in love with HIS rose]
Let selam [peace/greeting] be to all of you.
Let the name of “Hay” be said in tongues. [hay==human separating his/her heart from his/her body]
Let ‘close friend’ be said,
Let HIS each human be remembered.
Let The Name of HAK be seen in HIS each human.
Let smoke not be on the path,
Let doubt not stay in human.
Let his/her deep love that burns not go out [not be extinguished],
Let him/her not whirl without remembering Allah’s Name.
“What is whirling?” is said,
Sema. [sema= whirling dance performed by the Mevlevi dervishes]
When you say,
“I got excited, I burn [in heart],
I whirl with HIS deep love,”
Let you be among the ones who erase the earth;
Let you take all [humans] into the heart.
Let you know that my path is this.
What you will open is home,
Where you will [make] smoke is corner [that is underneath the chimney].
What you will open are arms,
What you will find is the nest of close friend. [nest==Mevlana’s/Garib’s congregation]
I am Mevlana
As you know,
As you take to your heart.
In the moment when you remember,
I am together [with you].
Similar to how you fall in deep love and whirl,
In the moment when you remember,
We whirl together,
We burn [in heart] together,
We make [one] burn together.
To the ones who say,
“Do not add!
Do not join!
Do not conform!”:
To the ones who say word saying,
“Pleading is early for you”: [you are too young to be a religious person…]
Pleading [with HIM] starts when it is wished,
It has no time, no place.
When “hayrihi and serrihi” is said,
It is among the interpretations of the day.
It means:
“We knew the good deed,
[my Allah,] Do not make us see evil.”
“Does the congregation conform?” you say.
When heart bond connects to HAK,
You conform to the congregation.
It does not matter if the congregation does not conform to you.
Let the pleading be
"From 'My Being' to 'YOU.'"
When you whirl while you are in deep love,
Let you know thanks to ‘My Being,’
Let you find thanks to ‘My Being.’
Because your pleading is this. [because your pleading should be like that]
Advice belongs to the one who knows,
Who says, “I wish for your word.”
Beauty is in the one who conforms to each one that happens.
Invitation is necessary to [for] the one who goes;
Invitation is repeated three times.
Sin-good deed of the one who does not accept [the invitation]
Belongs to him/herself.
Let the heart of the one
Who joins disorderly order
Be nice.
Let his/her pleading
Make his/her intention conform
To his/her bright heart.
Interpretation is the foundation of the chat.
Yet each interpretation is [according to] special desire of the human.
Let our answer to the shout be: ‘to say, “Ya Allah!”’, [ya Allah==thank YOU for my God-given share, I accept without any complaint]
Let it make the one who goes, be among the ones who turn back [to HIS path].
If we become owner of HIS Attribute,
Let us say, “We are HIS happy human,”
Let us bend the head toward the ground. [let us bow humbly]
The quilt that you will take
Should cover your height.
Human should scatter the knowledge that he/she takes
On the path that is wished.
Do not look for witness for the one who will return.
He/she brought a lot [of stones].
He/she took away a few [stones],
He/she laid the stone[s] on the path.
He/she will bring as much as he/she took away,
He/she will clean the stone from the path.
"Standard of value is in human him/herself,"
We said, we gave before.
"The one who takes [HIS] path, comes,
The one who opens the curtain, sees.
Heart eye is known in the one who erases,”
He said, my Yunus took the word:
With deep love, with practice
Heart burned,
Earth extinguished.
HE made burn - [earth] extinguished,
HE made [one] find like that.
Meyhane [meyhane=bar/restaurant like public place in 14th century where wine was served]
Is packed with drunkards, it empties,
It is packed again.
The one who drinks continuously,
Makes hole in the wall.
Hour of worship is evident, [official times of worship are known, i.e. five times a day]
[however,] Pleading’s time is full. [there is plenty of time to plead [with HIM] / there is no specific time to plead, one can plead any time he/she wants to]
The one who concentrates
Is the one who is filled [in heart];
The one who says, “I knew,”
Is lie.
Flower opens,
It is the one that wilts.
The one who falls in deep love
Is the one who stays.
(Question: Do you mean “he/she is everlasting”?)
Eyvallah. [affirmative]
The one who finds meydan,
The one who says, ‘Everlasting,’
When he/she says, “Ya Allah,”
When universe fills the heart:
[then]
You are from the ones who stay,
[you are] From the ones who roll up
Right and left with one another,
Path and hal [with one another].
Do not say,
“I came, I will return,
What will I know if I do not see?”
Each event that you see
Says to you, “Stop!”
Puts point there.
If you can not know to stop,
If you can not solve what you see,
It is because you conform
Not to the order [orderliness]
But to the degenerate one.
Do not say, “Who is the degenerate one?”
Each tree that you plant
Does no give the fruit that you wish for.
Graft is necessary for such tree.
The graft of the tree that you lean on
Was already performed yesterday. [yesterday==ages ego, since Prophet Mohammad...]
Pleading:
Let it be from past to future,
Let it take [include] all [humans],
Let it reach all [humans].”

Let the heart of the one who says, “Advice,”
Be nice,
Let him/her know that
Hand of Darling is in his/her hand.
Let him/her not make Darling’s Name
Fall from his/her tongue. [let him/her always remember Darling]
Page is read each time that it is opened.
Disorderly order finds its place [becomes ordered]
At the end of the day.
Be entrusted to my Allah.
Let pleading be in your heart.
Fault is
Neither in human
Nor in path
Nor in the writing.
What is written, is seen.
I gave before:
Interpretation is solved according to your desire that is in your heart.
What you expect in autumn
Is interpreted in summer;
It is roasted under the sun, [sun==Prophet Mohammad, Prophet Mohammad’s teachings]
It is winnowed to autumn.

Example is not given by tale,
Human is not given place [in after earth life] according to beard; [human is not granted spiritual level according to his/her physical maturity on earth]
One does not arrive [at HIM] without deep love.
When one leans on [HIM],
One is not scared of falling.
Guest is from close friend[s],
He/she becomes close friend, [? Close friend matures [spiritually],?]
He/she conforms to the right [correct],
He/she finds in the right [correct].
Do not take trouble from mountain, from stone,
Do not see yourself in trouble.

Do not dig the poison with honey.
Whatever word is said,
Let it be said;
Do not stop.
Say,
“I took my path,
I knew my hal.
I found close friend in Close Friend,
Myself, I knew Myself."
Be entrusted to my Allah.
The one whom you remembered:
She [? He ?] chose without searching.
She [? He ?] said, “Path,”
She [? He ?] started walking forward on [HIS] path.
She [? He ?] said, “Hal,”
She [? He ?] passed from hal to the right [correct].
Let one not say,
“He/she does not conform, [? "The one who does not conform, ?]
He/she does not hear.”
The one who accepts his/her destiny
Is the one who says,
“My Allah, it is from YOU.”
In your pleading:
Be the one who works to reach HIM,
In HIS Name.
I gave before:
Let your pleading be
Not to see
But to arrive [at HIM].
