I am Mevlana.
The subject of the day makes Yunus laugh.
If you say, “Is it as I hope for?”
I say to you, "Eyvallah."

(Question: What are your recommendations about the big jihad? [big jihad==human’s fight against his/her own ego])

It is human’s body load
That the [spiritual] meaning does not show.

(Question: Can the one who disciplines his/her ego be together with HAK in every moment of 24 hours of the day?)

The one who says, “Ya Allah,”
The one who peels off his/her ego
Has neither hour nor minute:
The moment is that moment. [do not mention about hours, minutes, one would be with HIM in every moment]
If heart wishes for [HIS] path, soft path is yours.

I said before:
Two hands speak two languages. [each one of both hands says something different]
Intention is only in two. [for each event, human selects one of the two choices: good or bad]
Beyond two is in the writing [destiny].
There is no accident, there is only the writing. [there is no accident, everything is written [in each moment] in destiny; God writes/designs the destiny in each moment according to the choice/intention of each human]
Its occurrence [the occurrence of the accident] is 'coming true of the writing.'
The occurrence and the writing are different.
Each order that you call as 'unlucky,'
Is the one that does not conform to your intention.
However, if you look for fault in your intention,
Then you do not say word [talk badly] about the occurrence of the event.

When you say, “My intention is from HAK, my heart is from purity,”
On the day you say word in the name of my Allah,
Wish to your saint for his/her [saint’s] help.

Do not say, “Before swearing, before herding sheep,
My word is not listened.” [do not say, “nobody listens to me if I do not swear”] [keep away from swearing]

If you say, “Fault is in whom?” [whose fault is it?]
[then] You throw litter to the surface of the water.
Let you be at ease,
Let you not look for fault in yourself. [do not look for the faulty one, not even in yourself]

Omar says,
The value of the word is in the measure of the heart.
If you say, “How?”
It is not written in the record of faithful human.
The knot of the one who does not conform in events to the going of the path
Is not untied.
Let him/her even say, “You are faulty.” [saints recommend one to conform to events, and not to look for a faulty one in events; however, if one does not conform to events, it does not matter for him/her whether he/she looks for a faulty one or not, because he/she will have knots in his/her wool ball anyway] [wool ball==lifetime on earth]

If you say, “Let my foot not come as tight, let my shoe not squeeze [my foot],”
The one that comes as tight is not written.

Time is right, [? Flavor is nice ?]
Caravansary is on HIS path,
Hand is in his/her hand. [human is being helped [as/if he/she wishes for…]]

Let one not say word,
Let its width, its length not be opened,
Let one not run away from what will happen. [one should not speculate about events, one should not be scared of future events]

I am Mevlana,
My life is from HIM,
My blood is from HIM.
I do not wish beyond
The peace that HE gives.

I do not make my word, long.
Goodbye.

I am Mevlana.


Cruelty [injustice] that is seen in tyrant,
Science that comes from the wise one
Are HIS detailed explanation.
The one whom the cruelty educates, is the one whom my Allah grinds.
If you say, “What is the fault of the tyrant?”

(“He/she sets up intention for cruelty,” is said.)

Of course.
Is the tyrant not [one] of HIS humans?
He/she is human too.
However,
The place at which he/she puts [an] end to his/her cruelty, his/her humanity starts.
Do not forget that
Pharaoh acted as father for Hazrat Musa [Moses].
Negative, not from the right of fatherhood. [although he was not his real father, he acted as father for him]
His cruelty was because
He knew HAK’s path wrongly.

We can not know the taste of the food that we do not eat,
We can not say word about it. [we can not talk about it]
You can not describe the color to the one who does not see.

Goodbye.

I am Mevlana.
In the structure [order] of the universe, human’s interrogation is hidden.
As it comes from heart,
As he/she takes from his/her tongue,
It is recorded in his/her [record] notebook.

Height in cypress [tree],
Summit in pine [tree]
Are respected.
The one going on the path, is seen,
The path that he/she wishes for, is given.
Path is yours, wish is yours.
You are HIS human.
If you knew HIM on earth,
If you remembered HIM in sky,
If you put deep love in heart,
[then] What do you guard against where?
Of course, your path opens.
You, wishing for safe [sound] path,
You, waiting for blessing from the path
Shows that your heart is open.

Mirage is wished for in desert,
Wine is asked for in “meyhane.” [meyhane=bar/restaurant like public place in 14th century where wine was served]
With patience
You cross the desert as well as you drink the wine.

I said, “come,” to whomever I remembered:
If you burned in heart for HIM
Our [spiritual] water to give [you] is abundant,
Our ocean is endless. [ocean==God]

We said, “In the sea of life, together with Darling”
We became One with all humans.
When 'life and Darling' is said,
There is each creation
That/who comes from life,
That/who is from Darling.
In Being [Existence]
There is ONEness like in the example of sand.

If “what is beyond birth?” is said,
I say, “Knowing The Reality.”
Because birth is 'quitting the earth.'
If “what is the most beautiful fruit of earth” is said:
Fruit of “one’s appointed time.” [end of lifetime on earth]
Do you know what the open meaning of
“One’s appointed time” is?
Reunion with Allah.
My Allah,
The day on which I was reunited with YOU
I knew my birth.
I found myself in YOU.
I saw YOU in all humans.
I became eye for the eye that sees,
I became word for the ear that hears,
I became hand for the human who wishes.
I said, “My duty,” I gave my path to the ones who wished for path.

In patience, there is The Power of my Allah.
Human who is patient, has The Power of my Allah.
Human who is load on the human who is patient
Is human who revolts against my Allah.

We pruned the grapevine, we enclosed with wall, we knocked over the trunk.
If we know to wait,
If we take shelter in HIS Patience,
We eat the grape as well as we drink the wine.

As I wrote on my day [on earth in body], [as I wrote in Mesnevi]
First, I became flower,
Then bug,
After that I knew my humanity.
What I said [in the past], I gave [it] on the [current] day to you.
However, you could not solve [it].
At the beginning of our writing,
We said, “We became tree, HIS humans [are] leaves”
And now, we considered them as herd.
We passed the first phase.
We are about to pass the second phase.
Beyond humanity is “Being” [Existence].
Humanity is the third phase.

We did not hit, we touched.
We did not cross, we passed.
We did not fall, we collapsed,
We submitted [ourself to HIM], we prostrated ourself.
In The Beauty That one can not have enough of admiring
Do not think about HIS Secret.
The one who does not know to come to his/her senses
Stays as deprived of Beauty.

The day’s interpretation is made when it [the day has] passed.
However, whatever you interpret, is in vain,
Because whatever is written, happened [already].

Do not look for “keramet” in the anger that you can not control. [keramet=1. miracle worked by God through a person. 2. the God-given power of working miracles]
Do not say, “This is from Allah too.”
Because it is necessary to know that
Uncontrollable anger can not be ordered to HIS human.
Anger is only the revolt of the ego.
Do not give privilege of revolt to ego.
Bee’s reason of not being loved, in spite of all of its merits,
Is that it protects its ego with pain.
It should not be forgotten that
If bee had logic, it would not use its stinger.

Let our pleading be for all of HIS humans.
Let him/her be among the ones who share their God-given share
With HIS humans.
Let it not be forgotten that:
There is human, he/she spends his/her God-given share in grape juice,
There is human, he/she hides his/her God-given share in forty bundles.
Of course, there is nothing that human waits from [other] human.
However, human is made intermediary to God-given share,
It is given to humans whose intentions are 'to share.'

The one who does not spend his/her five times in mosque,
Let him/her not separate his/her heart from HIS human.
Because the one that is necessary is not time, but cash.
What is meant by cash, is your heart,
The love that is in your heart.
Then your [prayer] time gains value.
It is enough to be HIS human:
To love the one[s] whom/that HE created
Is to be ONE with HIM.

Do not break your neighbor[‘s heart] so that your are not broken on another day.

Let it not be forgotten:
My Allah is Patient.
The one who does not turn [to HIM] on the [current] day,
Turns [to HIM] when it [days] passed. [HE makes him/her turn to HIM sooner or later]
Do not pick the fruit when it is unripe, because it would be wasted. [analogy with spiritually immature human]

Do not spend the word before measuring, it breaks heart.
Broken heart becomes dust on your path, covers your eye.

Each human that you say word about his/her [spiritual] maturation,
You grab his/her God-given share.
“What does it mean?” is said.
I gave before.
I said, “Human’s measure is in my Allah.”
If you say word about that measure,
It offends my Allah.

I gave it a lot [many times].
The event that leads to impatience, should not be asked from you,
Because
You know that he/she takes his/her power from my Allah.
Patience occurs in the one who has the power of my Allah.
Did I not tell you:
In events, there is no place at which patience overflows. [in events, there is no place at which one runs out of patience]

(One speaks saying, “Our cup [for patience] is small, [it overflows quickly].” [I run out of patience quickly])

It is in your hand to make [the cup] larger.
Your cup is not narrow [small],
Your ego controls your logic.
Let each human find him/herself faulty, that is enough.
There is salvation in patience.
There is “keramet” in salvation. [keramet==1. miracle worked by God through a person. 2. the God-given power of working miracles.]
You learn [about] patience from the one who is patient.
There is regret in the one who is patient.
In each event that occurred, that did not occur,
[in each event] That turns, that does not turn,
First think of blaming yourself, then your surroundings so that
You stay away from regret.
The one who is patient, until becoming patient,
Goes through various regrets.
The one who gives place to patience, puts dot in salvation. [the one who is patient, reaches salvation]
The continuation of the word [dispute], of the action
Ends when one takes upon him/herself the faults.
However, if fault is loaded upon one human, it comes as heavy.

Each human answers
Not for you nor for me,
But for the one that he/she is responsible for.
Human is HIS, path is HIS, measure is HIS,
Not yours nor mine.
My measure to me, your measure to you, opens path. [my measure opens my path, your measure opens yours…]

If I break the oil lamp, its oil [fuel] leaks. [similarly, if you break heart, you lose the God-given Light that you have at birth time…]

Let us say, “Eyvallah,”
Let us tie [end] each word [discussion] like that.
The fact that salvation is seen in “eyvallah”
Comes from our Master Hazrat Mohammad.
He wrote in his book.
We say what he gave.

We expect the manifestation of the justice from my Allah only.
Let it not be forgotten that human’s justice may be wrong
Because he/she is not at the place where the crime is committed.
Both parties say, “I am right.”
However,
Only my Allah knows the one who is right.

Let it be said:
“I am HIS [Your] human, thank YOU for what YOU give,
I am HIS [Your] human, thank YOU for loving,
I am HIS [Your] human, when inclined toward fault
I take shelter in YOU, I beg Your Help.”

Mistakes are human’s, to beg [Allah’s] pardon is your path.
Once you take shelter in HIS pardon, patience is your wish.
Do not look for cause, do not find in the basket, [do not blame the basket]
Do not turn and look at each mistake.
What you call mistake, becomes wisdom one day.
Because you call [it] mistake in accordance with what you see.
However, according to my Allah’s giving, it may be wisdom.
Let one not stay on top of each event, [let one not speculate on events]
Let it not be interpreted badly.
Let one not be complainer about HIS human,
Because, as it is said, it may offend the muralist, [? Because, as it is said, it may offend The Muralist, ?]
Because, whether faulty or not, HE created.

You do not pick unripe fruit, of course.
However, if you shake the tree,
You cause the ripe one as well as the unripe one to fall.
I said 'cause,' I did not say, “I made it fall.”
In fact, the one that will fall, falls.
[however,] You, do not be the cause,
Do not put smoke in your heart.

I am Mevlana.
We did not open [dig] the well,
We did not say, “Darling,” and pass, [we did not ignore Darling]
We did not choose human among humans, [we did not discriminate among humans]
We did not close the door that is open:
The one who wishes, comes,
Takes from the place that he/she wishes.
Our heart throne gives to all [humans].
You eat the fruit, you present [it] to the one who wishes.
Let them not say, “We’d rather take from its tree.”
The one who wishes, takes from its tree.
If our giving was with measure, we would give its day, its hour.
However, our giving flows without stopping like in the example of waterfall,
The one who wishes, takes as much as he/she wishes.
If word is tied to day,
If one says, “Why there is none on day, but [there is] at night?”
The one who says, “Let me take during the day,” is the one who tries to water the soil.
Our giving [our spiritual water] is the one that does not extinguish human’s fire.

The one who says, “Let me demolish my dam like in the example of dervish lodge,
Let me reach the other side,”
Is the one who stays away from measure.
In order to pass to other side,
One should look forward
Not to demolishing oneself,
But to opening the path.          
This is what is taught in dervish lodge.
[otherwise,]
Not only he/she damages the surrounding
But also he/she falls apart him/herself.
The fact that the sand is soft, [as opposed to dam that is hard]
Makes water cross over [it].

If there is water in jug, to carry [it] comes as difficult.
However, the value of the water helps you to lift [to carry] [it].

The One Who chisels the carved design, is HIM.
The One Who sets the order up, is HIM.
The One Who writes the destiny of the one
Who comes [to earth],
Who goes [to after earth life]
Is HIM.

Our rose [is] in our heart,
Our path [is] in our rose.
We knew him, we said from HIM,
We walked on the path that he showed.
We saw HIM in the bird that flies,
We heard HIM in the wind that blows.
We loved each beautiful one,
In beautiful, we knew HIM.
The one that/whom you say to, “You are beautiful,” takes its/his/her beauty from HIM:
In your eye, HE is seen.
[Previous verses may be better understood under the light of Allah's LIGHT]

The only thing that is not [can not be] explained, is love.
In faithful human’s heart, there is love.
To describe love
Is to count the sand in desert, one by one.
When lives become one, they find deep love.
When they erase the ugly, the bad, they arrive in Darling.

Let your promise be kept,
Let your heart bow to HAK.

Why is there HIM in the heart of the orphan?
Orphan knows his/her Allah as mother, as father.
He/she finds on earth only HIM to take shelter in.
He/she finds [HIM] without falling in deep love.
The one who cries saying, “I am orphan,”
Let him/her beat him/her breast [in regret] because of his/her mistake.
For that [reason], love HIS orphan human,
Praise HIS orphan human,
See his/her specialty.
The one who breaks [the heart of] HIS orphan human, is broken fast
Because there is no wall in front of him/her [of orphan].
There is no stone on his/her [orphan’s] path.

Our heart,
Let it not bow to our ego that we do not overcome.

“In the caldron that is set up in meydan,
Let our hand not be absent,” she said,
Hazrat Hatice took the word.
We fused together in hearts,
We had heart to heart talk with our child,
We came, we embraced one another.
We tied
Our word to HIM,
Our heart to HIM.
I came [to earth] with HIM, I found with You.
In hearts, it is necessary
Not to cry,
But to feast.
Because you know to come to your senses,
Because you come until day,
I took the word only on [this] day.
It should not be thought that I stayed away from you.
I found without seeing
The essence in earth, the dust in rose, the few in heart.
If you say, “What does it mean?”
What I call, “the few in heart,” [means]
Number of humans for whom I was chosen as orphan mother,
For [because of] the giving of my heart, is a few. [that number is a few]
My hand is with your hand, my heart is with you,
My life [is] with your life, all of us [humans] [are] with my Darling.
Let my hand come, let my heart find,
Let [it] be one with all [humans].
Do not forget, my heart is in my child.
When your heart conforms to HIM, we all become one.
To conform is to become one.
There is beauty in beauty.
As you hoped for, I came with the greeting of our Master [Prophet Mohammad].
I gave [give] his word: [here is his message]
“DO NOT SLEEP,
DO NOT BE SCATTERED IN HEART.
IN UNION [in order to come together]
LOOK
NOT FOR MY FACE, BUT MY ESSENCE,
COMB
NOT MY HAIR [Prophet Mohammad’s hair is displayed at some museums [e.g. Topkapi Museum in Istanbul]]
BUT MY WRITING.”
He said, he gave me permission like that.
I AM WITH THEM WHEN THEY KNOW ME
I AM WITH THEM WHEN THEY SAY, “MY ALLAH,”
I AM WITH THEM WHETHER THEY KNOW OR NOT,
I AM WITH THEM WHETHER THEY SAY OR NOT,
I AM WITH THEM WHETHER THEY BURN [in heart] OR NOT.
I AM WITH THEM WHETHER THEY GO OUT [their fire is extinguished] OR NOT.
LET THEM KNOW THAT THEY CAME TO EARTH,
LET THEM FORGET WHAT THEY KNOW,
THERE IS SALVATION IN FORGETTING.
One does not find by knowing,
Because border of knowing is not [can not be] drawn.
The one who forgets what he/she knows
Looks for new knowledge.
Each time he/she looks for, he/she says, “My Allah,” he/she burns [in heart].

When Prophet Yunus [Jonah] said to one of his path-fellows,
“Tell me what you know so that I add to my knowledge,”
[the other one:]
“Do I give you what I learned from you?” he said.
Prophet Yunus [said]:
I used to know it yesterday, today I was born again;
Birth is renewal.
If you repeat the one that you know once more
You become as going back.
However, there is no going back.
We gave the one that is new, to the path.
With our greeting, we took from heart.
Be entrusted to my Allah.

“Let Light tie the path to my child,” she said,
Hazrat Hatice greeted.

If you wish to take more than to give,
[then] You stay away from HIS path.

Drunkenness is because of HIS favor, HIS love,
Because of your deep love for HIM.

No cause [reason] is searched in The Reality;
Does one say to the one who built Kaaba: “Why did you build?”

One does not steal card in [a] card game.
If you steal, it is fraudulent.
Neither you nor I have share in effort; [neither you nor I have any influence on the giving of God]
Your God-given share is adjusted according to you.

The one who says, “I became as in need of the one who is not brave,” [I need the help of the one who is not brave]
Is mistaken.
In fact, the one whom he/she calls as 'not brave,'
Is his/her door of [to] good deed.
Human’s God-given share is given
Neither by you nor by the one who is not brave.
The One Who gives, is only The Lofty One.
The fault in which human fell in the past
Makes him/her meet the human whom he/she calls 'not brave,' in the one that comes [in the future events].
For that [reason],
Do not look for any fault in any event.
Each event is chiseled like in the example of carved design,
It is spread in front of the human who commits it again.
If human looks for cause, let him/her not forget that
He/she is the one who started the beginning of that carved design.
Neither start the carved design of events
Nor be surprised when sheet [of carved design of events] is spread out in front of you.

Do not say, “Is word to us?” [do those messages aim us?]
Look in the specialty [implied meaning] of the word.
See all humans in the same specialty.

Goodbye.
