I am Mevlana.
We proceeded on the path beautifully,
Especially we knew close friend.
We entered through word,
We gave from voice.

Let my Allah be pleased.

Let your helper come on the path that you remember.

“Do not stop at the passage,” we said,
It is open.
You will give to the one who hears.
The one who respects
Knows his/her place [in after earth life].

On the path that you say about,
“I will go on foot,”
Let you know the one who gives his hand,
Let you remember saying, “Yunus.”

If you say, “[it is] With difficulty,”
That is because you reached HIS deep love,
That is because HE fell in your heart.

“Do I stop at night?” you say.
Night-day belong to all [humans].
There is none that is yours.

We entered [the subject of] shah and slave,
We brought the word to flatness.
Neither is shah without slave, [? Neither shah matures [spiritually] without slave, ?]
Nor does slave find without shah.
Yet if each one knows the other one,
The relationship comes to flatness. [the relationship is smooth, without problem…]

Richness is in heart.
Tie [connect] your love to value
Not to counter. [not to counting]
Counter: The one who separates,
Who puts grain by grain.

HIS human who is chosen
Is not from the ones who choose [who discriminate];
He/she does not put love to separation.
We gave before,
“Do not be from the ones who separate,” we said.

What is [spiritual] washer?
The one who purifies,
The one who helps the one who searches,
The one who transforms the one who is stone, into sand.
If you see the wheat as flour
[then] You know its value.
Do not forget:
In order to become flour,
It stays between two stones.

What is being given is in harmony.
With voice, with word,
Your wool ball joined the harmony. [wool ball==lifetime on earth]
Like in the example of rose:
Rose became your hal,
Leaf [became] your path… [leaf that is on the branch; branch==Mevlana's/Garib's congregation; leaf==human who is in Mevlana's/Garib's congregation]

My Yunus says:
They took my place from earth.
They saw my heart on the path.
They loved, they rejoiced,
They asked from the guest who will come.
Guest
Opens path to the new one,
Chooses The Beautiful One with his [? her ?] each hal,
He [? She ?] is loved like in the example of trefoil.

I am Mevlana.
There is
No interrogation [when going to after earth life], [? No question [about events], ?]
No worry on earth
Of the one who knows The Reality.

He [? She ?] took day to seven,
He [? She ?] asked for direction at the sea.
He [? She ?] wrapped [embraced] each beautiful one,
He [? She ?] blended every event.
He [? She ?] will come, will be guest, will tie to lifetime.

You are from the ones who love,
You will find the one who loves,
You will mature [spiritually] with the one who loves,
You will be filled with the one who loves.
There is no separation of the one who loves. [the one who loves does not discriminate]
You will also love the one who goes… [you will love the one who goes without entering the caravansary where the boniface is the saint; in other words, you love humans who are not members of the congregation too...]

Let him/her not leave his/her home in half [as unfinished].
Path is convenient.
Let him/her not be scared [even] if he/she sees volcano.
Let him/her stop by every fountain,
Let him/her not say,
“[this is] The water that I am used to.”
Let him/her remember Hazrat Yahya,
Let him/her call him for his/her help.

It is not cut from the tree.
Its leaf does not fall.
What he/she will take is not sold,
What he/she will give is not thrown.
Let
The one whom he/she wishes for his/her help
Be the one whom he/she remembers as Hamza Dost.
Let them not leave in half [as unfinished].
They blend honey and bitter.
Let them take the honey,
Let them throw the bitter.

I consulted with Lokman.
[he said:]
Let him/her not consider [him/herself] as having eaten,
Let him/her not think that he/she is full,
Let him/her not take-not give smoke.
He/she will turn to good.
If ‘medicine’ is said,
Let him/her eat mint,
Let it be its fresh one.

He/she finds passage to lean on,
He/she melts like in the example of butter,
He/she seeks cure from tea.
Let him/her come to his/her senses,
Let him/her turn to what he/she passed
Not to what he/she scattered.
What we give is that.
He/she tied the word
Not to the one who hears
But to the one who scatters.
Let him/her seek the one who hears.

We said, “Path is convenient,”
We gave before.
“Let him/her not take the writing,
Let him/her not hear him/herself,”
We said,
We went to his/her help. [we went to help him/her]
We will go, we will cross the path.

He/she adds the one who hears, to smoke,
He/she expects that he/she will see in smoke.
He/she will conform to the new one,
He/she will disperse the smoke.

Let you be entrusted to my Allah,
Let you find like in the example of Yunus.

Goodbye.

I am Mevlana.
Pleading [is performed] from earth,
God-given share [comes] from The Lofty One.

Human who hears,
[he/she is] The one who comes on the [HIS] path.

(Question: What is meant by ‘the one who hears’?)

The taker-the giver;
The taker of the one who gives.
We will give the new one,
We will proceed on the path to conformity.
We will know the ones
Whose heart doors are open,
Who join the duty.
We said before:
Let us know 41 [persons] who are on duty.
Yet the duty will be divided among the ones who say,
“I will join the duty,
I will enroll myself.”
In elevens, in sevens,
The duty was assigned by us.
In forty-ones,
We will give the duty to the ones
Who desire,
Who can take the load from heart.

Let it not be forgotten:
What is important is
Not the small one-the big one of the duty
But how it is executed.
The load of the one who desires
Is heavier.

Opening of the day in the nest, [nest==Mevlana's/Garib's congregation]
Its progress on the path to the new one
Is celebrated.

“What is the duty of the one who desires?” is being said.
Like in the example of leaf:
The hal of the leaf that gave without denial
From root to leaf.
The duty of elevens, sevens
Is in trunk and in branch.
[the duty] Of forty-ones is in leaf.
In other words,
It is turned to[wards] outside:
Distribution.
For that [reason],
There will be chooser, not chosen.
Leaf reflects each hal of the tree.
If
“What is the root of the tree?
Who is that?”
Is said:
Garip.

(Question: What does soil imply?)

The one that nourishes.
Soil becomes mother,
Rain [becomes] father,
They find one another in the universe.
Matter and The Meaning make HIS human come into being. [? Matter and The Meaning make HIS human become [spiritually] mature. ?]

Our tree is big;
It opens arm to rain [blessing] in every moment.
Each hal,
Each path
Is door that opens to my Allah.

We conform to the tree of which we are leaf.
Yet we can never deny the tree that has different leaf;
It exists, it is present;
Therefore, it is in the possession of The Lofty One.
If it is like that,
It can not be denied.
However,
When the one that is degenerate is seen,
It is inclined to grafting.
The one who matures [spiritually], matures;
Human is not responsible for the one who does not mature [spiritually],
[he/she is not responsible] For the graft that will be applied.
Let it not be forgotten:
Whether it [graft] is successful
Or not
It is because of his/her own bodily constitution.

We gave the day’s interpretation.

Three advices of ours come from us to HIS human who desires:
Desire
If you can perform your duty
As you are, [? As much as you are [spiritually] mature, ?]
As much as you know,
At the place where you see… [vision==to see HIM in HIS creations]

Be entrusted to my Allah.

(Mirac [read as 'meeraj'] day/night: the day on which Prophet Muhammad was allowed to glance at The Reality)

I am Mevlana.
[human’s one] Eye does not look at [his/her other] eye,
They do not see one another.
Yet [the] two eyes do not see differently than one another.
Be entrusted to my Allah.
Set intention up
On earth for the giving,
In direction for the interrogation [that takes place when you migrate to after earth life].

The one who exists
Is the one who laughs at The Being
From earth. [while he/she is on earth]
What is meant by ‘earth’
Is the one
Who gives his/her hand to the one who knows his/her place [in after earth life],
[is the one]
Who ties his/her hand to his/her [to other human's] hand
At the place where there is sand.
We knew Friday,
We came to greet,
“Let good deed be,” we said.
Our night heads towards ‘the coming [to after earth life]’
All of us [we head] towards laughing.
Each one who says, “Let me take,”
Fills [with spiritual water].
To the one who says,
“Is what I take valid?”
Let us say,
“What you give is convenient,”
Let us put point to his/her enrollment.

Say for the one
Who makes wine come into being,
Who makes cellar be found,
“Let my Allah be pleased [with him/her].”

The path that is tried [i.e. old beliefs]
Does not erase the one that is not tried. [i.e. the new one]
The one who does not hear
Does not give direction
To the one who hears.

What the one who stops
Will say to the one who goes[, is]:
“Do not hit the stone with foot;
Whatever you see,
Do not stop saying, ‘event.’”

The one who becomes exalted
Is the one who takes his/her place saying, “Close friend,”
Is the one who finds all [humans] in his/her heart.

The one who searches in word [the one who searches The Meaning],
The one who combs in eye [the one who tries to see HIM in HIS creations]
Takes pleasure in
Neither palace
Nor throne.

Let us say that path is convenient,
Let us erase the worry.
Let us say,
“Let my foot come to warm, [idiom meaning ‘let me be at ease/I do not worry’]
Let one erase the smoke like that.”

Say to the one
Who captains the ship,
Who opens the notch for path:
I decorated my heart
Without searching thornless rose.
I dispersed my smoke
Without combing each event.
When it is like that
Worry is irrelevant.

What does the one
Who enters the creek,
Whose foot touches the soil
Hear?
I came from the sea,
I will return [to the ocean], [ocean==God]
I am decorated with deep love,
I will burn [in heart].
What is meant by ‘burning’:
‘I will be transformed from flame into ash.’

Seyyit Yunus said,
“Let us widen the one [the path] that comes as narrow,
Let us pass the one who knows [The Meaning] as difficult,” [if his/her heart door is closed, do not insist…]
He put support to the stop.
The stop [is]:
The one that [? who ?] takes and brings away,
The one that [? who ?] brings the one who conforms.

I am Mevlana.
Let us come into being [together] with close friend [? Close Friend ?],
[? Let us mature [spiritually] [together] with close friend [? Close Friend ?],
Let us meet with close friend [? Close Friend ?];
What we take is from The Lofty One,
Let us share all together.

The beautiful one knows the beautiful one;
Leaf becomes its dry leaf,
Stays at the root of the tree.

We consulted with Lokman:
“Let him/her take the foot to warm, [idiom meaning ‘let him/her be at ease']
Let him/her say his/her trouble to the ocean,” [ocean==God]
He said.

Epic [is] about close friend;
Epic is not said about ‘post.’ [post==congregation to unite in ONE]
Epic
Walks around the surrounding,
Has heart-to-heart talk with the surrounding,
Blends the one who stops with the one who does not stop.

Let us join the one
Who is the human of Close Friend
Saying, “He/she is HIS tongue,”
Let us disperse the smoke,
Let us be helper to the giving of the one who gives.

We say to the ones who come to our nest. [nest==Mevlana's/Garib's congregation]
We said, "Our nest."
Iron is worked,
When it comes into being, [when it takes its final shape]
It is praised.

One takes path to the new one.
‘Diynat’ means ‘inclination to take.’
When you take the fruit in hand,
When you throw away
Its root, its stem,
What comes to hand
Pleases you.

The place of the one that is called as
‘Master of sky,’
Is of course in accordance with human's measure.
At the place
Where sky’s border is not traced,
Where there is no stop,
One leans on saying, “Support.”
[it is thought that previous verses are about fortune telling by looking at the stars]

We conformed to the going,
“[he/she] Rose from earth..” we said.
Rising from earth is getting out of the atmosphere.
Say to the one who says,
“We came from ground, we will return to ground”:
Pleading makes [one spiritually] mature,
Makes [us] find as we came. [makes us return to after earth life with the same Light that we had when we came to earth]

Be entrusted to my Allah.
What you take from eye
Give [it] from essence.

Goodbye.
