I am Mevlana.
Let my Allah be pleased
With the one who chisels, who says.
Let one be loved as much as he/she loves.
Let one find as much as he/she knows,
Let one see as much as he/she finds, [vision==to see HIM in HIS creations]
Let one give as much as he/she sees.
Let my Allah be pleased with all [humans].

How much we come is [how much we move forward on HIS path depends on]
Not as much as we know
But as much as we conform [to events].

Heart
Throws word to the universe, [heart/human talks about the universe]
[heart] Throws eye [to the universe], [heart/human glances at the universe]
However, [heart/human] keeps as much as he/she takes [spiritual water].

Let our foot be on earth,
Let our heart be in the rose.
One does not ask about the beautiful one of red rose,
[one does not ask] About dry leaf of yellow rose.
They stay in the one who sees,
He/she takes as he/she sees.

Who is The One Who owns?
THE Creator,
THE One Who protects HIS creation.

If you are among the ones who know the ship, [ship==ship that sails on the ocean, ship of which the crew are the saints]
“You conformed to the ocean,” I say. [ocean==God]

I am Mevlana with word,
I am Mevlana with essence.
I came [to earth in body],
I found,
I loved,
I whirled,
I conformed to The One Who owned.
Our question about earth solidified, [we did not have any question about the events]
Our interrogation was performed through heart. [interrogation==trial of human when he/she migrates to after earth life]

[say] To the one who says,
“The ground was washed,”
For the one that came from wind, from torrent:
“Beauty is in the one who sees,” I say. [vision==to see HIM in HIS creations]

Each moment in which you plead [with HIM]
Is the moment in which you open your [? HIS ?] path.
Pleading makes [one spiritually] mature,
Deep love makes [one] find [HIM].

When hand is given to hand,
When hearts become one,
Circles reunite the one who loves
With the one who [? The One Who ?] is loved.

“If I separate [discriminate between] the soil, the stone,
If I favor human over human,
Then would I be among the ones who love?
Then would I be remembered as Yunus?”
He said, my Yunus took the word.
If you say, “Let me be one with HAK,”
[then] Find the people,
See HAK in the people.
Say to the one who says,
“The progress of people is disrupted
If hungry one does not open hand to hungry one,
If full one does not open heart to hungry one”:
People's progress is disrupted
If they [people] stay away from HAK.
However, if one stays away from people,
Then one becomes degenerate.
The one who is degenerate, the one who makes [one] degenerate,
Which one is guilty?
I gave to question. [I asked]
Is the one who makes [one] degenerate
The support of the one who is degenerate? [does the one who is degenerate lean on the one who makes [one] degenerate?]
Of course not.
“The one who conforms to what comes with wind, with torrent,” we said.
When it is like that,
There is no one who makes [one] degenerate:
There is the degenerate one.
One's sin - one's good deed belong to human him/herself.
[Yunus’ chat ends here]

I am Mevlana.
There is beauty in each event that you say about,
“I sensed/sense,”
Why?
Because of the wideness of human’s atmosphere.
When it gets wider, current increases.
When current increases,
Of course the taking widens.
Wideness brings [leads] to giving,
Increases human’s good deed.

In cold, in warm,
See what you will take, as beautiful.
In cold, in warm,
Know what you will give, as beautiful.
Trust The One Whom you lean on
Without doubt.
Trust so that
Beauties open to you.

“We took through heart,
We knew since birth, [birth==1. Migration to after earth life; 2. To come to one’s senses]
We gave heart to ocean,” [we fell in love with the ocean] [ocean==God]
He said, my Eyub came.
I conformed to HIS rose on the day
When I saw [HIM] on my right, on my left,
When I wrapped [embraced] [HIM] in my heart with deep love,
When I kept as secret What is said to be secret,
When I gathered together the one that is said to, “Be!” [when I realized what the matter was, when I perceived The Meaning]
Branch of tree bends,
Its leaf falls;
“How is deep love bent in deep lover?” I said.
I saw HIS path in heart through HIS rose.
[The verses of Hazrat Eyub, and other sections of Part 26 may be better understood under the light of the following information: Sufism started thanks to the teachings of Prophet Mohammad, and continued from generation to generation in the form of education between mursheed [spiritual mentor] and mureed [student]. When human wished/wishes for The Meaning, Allah sent/sends him/her spiritual guide. All Sufi saints had their mursheeds, e.g. Shams for Mevlana, Tabduk for Yunus, etc. Since the teachings [e.g. Allah's LIGHT is shadowless and everywhere; universe is the shadow of The Reality, etc...] were beyond the understanding capability of humans, mursheed educated mureed[s] behind closed doors. [E.g. when Mansur Al-Hallaj, a sufi saint who lived between 858-922, stated openly “Enel Hak” [I am Allah], he was tortured and killed...]]

“If hand is in ocean, foot on ground,
What you will see is fish.
If heart stays in ocean, [ocean==God]
What you will find is HALIK [God].”
He said, he gave his name to the one who asked.
“I came as Aydin, [Aydin=a human name in Turkish; aydin=bright]
I asked,
I found.”
[this is answer] To the one who asked.

I am Mevlana.
To the one who says,
“What is the usefulness of cavity?”:
[it is useful] “To a poor one,” I say,
Not to the one who says,
“Where did I come from,
Where do I go to?” [not to the one who questions events]
[it is useful] To the one who says,
“I found, thank YOU.”

Because of the door that opens,
Because of the heart that is embroidered.
We came from water,
We will become water,
We will find the ocean. [ocean==God]

We said about the degenerate one,
We searched the one who made [him/her] degenerate.
If we take HIS rain,
If we see HIS mud,
If we connect the word like that:
If soil became mud,
Is it from the degenerate one[s]? [would we consider the mud as degenerate?]
If rain occurred abundantly, [if it rains a lot]
Is it from the ones who make degenerate? [would we say that the rain caused the degeneration?]

Let us not be ‘nadan,’ [nadan=[self appointed] punisher]
Let us not break heart.

Even though it is said,
“Dissatisfaction is equal to unconformity,”
‘To know to be satisfied’ comes from conformity,
Hearts become one with all [humans].

Let his selam [peace/greeting] be with you,
Let hearts be filled with rose.

Be entrusted to my Allah.
Conform,
Find,
See in Oneness.
ONEness comes from togetherness.

Goodbye.
Lailaheillallah Muhammedur Resulullah. [Allah is The only One to be worshiped, and Mohammad is HIS Representative.]

I am Mevlana.
Let my Allah be pleased with the one who knows the one
Who matured [spiritually],
Who laughed,
Who sees the beautiful on each branch.

When ‘specialty’ is said,
It is meant 'the one who takes possession of [spiritual] maturity him/herself.'
One takes from wideness.
It is exactly as it is said.
There is no [need for any] interpretation.
When ‘chat’ is said,
One asks about
Not the specialty
But the wideness;
It is interpreted as the answer of the one who comes. [person interprets our chat as the answer of his/her question]
Eyvallah.
We give to the ones
Who take with essence and eye,
Who are filled in heart.
It is not discrimination-favoritism,
It is the opening of the one who hears, to wideness.
Wideness is the passing of the bridge.
If it is like that
[then] There is no specialty.
Let us put out to wideness, [let us sail to wideness]
Let us connect [interpret/solve] the chat like that.

We saw-we will see
In the vineyard of hearts,
On the lofty mountain;
We will weave to the ocean, like in the example of net. [ocean==God] [we will explain The Reality]
Whatever we take, we will give,
We undressed, we will make [one] dress [wear].
We will show people from HAK.
Wideness makes [one spiritually] mature,
What is taken makes [heart]full.
The Reality [is] here,
The Reality [is] there,
The Reality [is] at the bridge that is set up.

(Question: What is meant by ‘the one who chisels’ that was said during the chat on 7 January 1977?)

When ‘the one who chisels’ is said,
One talks about the wideness.
Wideness makes known the notch that is opened,
Wall opens like that.
“The wall that is mentioned during the chat?” is said.
No.
There are of course two sides of the bridge.
Where you are [is] this side,
What you ask [is] that side.
There is no ‘that side, this side’ among us.
Value standard is appropriate,
Sun is at its summit. [sun==Prophet Mohammad]
The moment in which The Reality is known,
Human [who is] soft, takes his/her place,
He/she knows that HE [is The One Who] shows.
What is the one that HE shows?

Omar says:
If you can see
What the sun gives, [sun==Prophet Mohammad]
That it erases the shadow, [it==teachings of Prophet Mohammad, ONEness of HEARTs’ teachings that explain how Allah's LIGHT is shadowless...]
Then you are HIS human. [to better understand what Hazrat Omar says, refer to explanation bracket after Hazrat Eyub’s chat on 7 January 1977]
If you can know that the night covers,
That it makes [one] search the sun,
Then you are from HIS humans who are [spiritually] mature.
Each human sees what the sun gives.
[however, spiritual] Maturity of humanity
Is in being able to know that the night covers.
The one that is open, makes known,
The one that is covered, makes [one spiritually] mature.

(Question: In what sense is the word ‘night’ being used?)

Cover of matter [is] secret,
Cover of The Meaning is pen. [pen==ONEness of HEARTs]
The one that is considered to be unworthy by interpretation,
Is he/she/it not worthy of respect?
Each perception that is open [clear]
Should be kept away from interpretation.
It should be known that
There is note of the universe in pen. [the note [explanation] of the universe is in pen / our chats explain The Meaning]
Gold should not be asked to silver, [Gold==The Meaning; silver==matter]
Coal should not be searched in desert.
Let one come to ocean
Either by river or by drop of rain, [ocean==God]
He/she should not be given to question. [every one goes to ocean one way or another; do not question/blame the ones who do not read ONEness of HEARTs, who practice old faiths; be tolerant…]
Heart is on [HIS] path,
The one who is wished, is in arm,
[the one who is wished is] In human who asks him/herself; [is with human who comes to his/her senses]
What he/she takes sip by sip is from HAK.
Let him/her know him/herself.
He/she is from purity
Whether he/she wraps [embraces] or not,
Whether he/she interprets or not.
Let one not fall in doubt that he/she takes, [? Let one not fall in doubt about the one that he/she takes, ?]
Let him/her not be amazed at what he/she sees.


I am Mevlana.
You took the interpretation of Omar.
What is given through number
Is the one that is seen in future.
It is to the day. [it is for today]
It is not far from the goal.

He/she takes care of the vineyard, [? He/she looks at the vineyard, ?]
He/she asks the grape about the leaf.
“Is it joke?” you will say,
You will laugh saying, “Is he/she crazy or wise?”

Our day opens the page of the [current] day.

We came with deep love,
We found in deep love.
We have been in the same condition as the ones who have been in deep love.

Know the one who takes, at the place where he/she takes,
As much as he/she takes.
Let hearts be one, [as long as hearts are one]
It does not matter if each path takes to the place where it arrives.
Even if
“Where one arrives, is one,
Where one is made to arrive, is path,
The one that makes find, is hal,
The one that carries, is torrent,”
Is said,
Torrent takes as well as
Step takes too. [Either he/she is carried to the ocean by torrent, or he/she goes there on HIS path by walking; it is up to the wish of human. In other words, if human wishes for The Meaning, he/she is sent guide, he/she may walk to the ocean. If he/she does not wish for The Meaning, he/she may be carried by the torrent...]
Torrent rolls,
Hal gathers together.


Even if it is said,
“Drunkard does not know [HIS] path,”
He/she arrives too.
However,
He/she reaches
While turning and turning between two walls.
The one who conforms,
The one who knows
Has heart-to-heart talk with each one who goes.

You asked about the grapevine,
You dwelled on the one that will come [you dwelled on the harvest]. [? You dwelled on the future. ?]
How about if I say, “Wait, see”?
Let hearts be known in the rose,
Let rose [be known] in hal.
Let wine stay in the cellar,
Let it give its secret there.
Let sea cover in wave, [let sea cover with its waves]
Let secret become one with it.
Let pleading give us the secret
Of the wine that is in cellar,
Of the wave that is in the ocean. [ocean==God]
The One Who puts in order,
Is The One Who erased/erases the amazement.
The One Who erased/erases the amazement
Is The One Who knows the pleading.
Who is The One Who knows?
HE is The Lofty One.
I said, “The One Who knows the pleading,”
Not 'the one who pleads.’
The One Who knows the pleading of the one who pleads
Is of course The Lofty One.


(Question: Is cellar analogue to body, wine to spirit?)

Cellar: The one that keeps in secret,
Wine: The one that forces.
Pleading opens the curtain that is between body and spirit.
However,
The pleading with HIM.

What is wished to HIM, will come from HIM,
If it is written.
Blessing will come from HIM,
If it is wished.
The interpretation is exactly the same.
Knot unties,
The Reality is seen like in the example of mirror.

Let us say, “Selam [peace/greeting],” to that side,
Let us wish for beautiful day.

Pleading [with HIM] is what makes happen;
THE One That says, "BE!" makes happen.
The One That says, “KNOW!” makes find.

Even if he/she plucks the leaf from the branch,
When it turns green again, HE makes [him/her] love.
“What does ‘to turn green again’ mean?” is said.
It is not ‘turning green’ of human.
[it is] Turning of the tree from season to season. [it is the change that occurs in the tree from season to season]
Branch of the tree turns green
Not its root.
Human’s body loses,
His/her spirit makes [him/her] find.
He/she will find so that he/she will [spiritually] mature.
My Allah will open the curtains of all of you,
Let you have no doubt.
Let your pleading not disturb HIS Show. [The last verse may be better understood under the light of the following information: Every thing that is visible to human eye is HIS LIGHT in the form of matter, in other words is HIM, HIS Display, HIS Show. When one pleads with Allah, HE listens to/hears every thought in every human, in every moment. Plead with HIM knowing The Reality; plead with HIM without any doubt in heart...]

Be entrusted to my Allah.

The one that makes secret, [is] body,
The one that forces, [is] spirit.

We said the one that comes,
We did not say the future. [? We did not say that it [? he/she ?] will come. ?]

The One Who looks
Is The One Who knows the one who is ready.
HE is The One Who sees
Even though you do not say, “See.”
HE is The One Who weaves
Even though you do not say, “Weave.”
HE is The One Who erases the sins.
HE is The One Who takes from the root of the tree
And increases its water up to its apex.

The notch that is said about, “We will cross,”
Is crossed.
The path that is said about, “One does not mature [spiritually],”
Is passed.
Let us erase, “One does not mature [spiritually].”

Be entrusted to my Allah.

Goodbye.
