I am Mevlana.
I came with armful of greeting,
I gave the one that is good deed.
I saw all [of you] as nice.
The one who ties saz and word, [saz= a stringed instrument (which somewhat resembles a lute)]
The one who says, “There is trick in destiny,”
Let him/her not be mistaken.
The trick that the destiny makes, is for good deed of human.
Let it not be forgotten:
My Allah is The Creator, The Protector of HIS each human.
The one that comes [seems] to you as trick, is surely HIS favor.
If you say, “Salvation is seen in HIS favor,”
[wait and] See its end, then know like that, that it is salvation. [wait until the end to see that it is salvation]
Because each coming of the favor, comes like evil;
From the door that opens, bright path is seen.
There is no mistake in difficulty, [yet] there is [mistake] in cruelty.
The one who behaves cruelly, even though he/she does what conforms to his/her intention,
Do not think that the cruelty, which he/she brings, carries you.
The one whom it carries, is only the one who will go. [the one whose appointed time is up…]
The one who falls in sorrow because it snowed:
Let him/her not forget that ice also may happen.
Whether it is snow or ice,
None of them can resist the sun. [sun==Prophet Mohammad]
The one who does not eat, does not know, does not take its flavor.
No harsh word is used during chat.
Because the one who opens [starts] the chat
Does not see the earth as bad.
To wish for prediction is to force the closed curtain,
Because
My Allah is not incapable of making what HE wishes [? what you wish for ?]
In the moment when HE wishes.
You find “keramet” in every thing that is created in the universe. [keramet=1. miracle worked by God through a person. 2. the God-given power of working miracles.]
You came, you saw.
Inside, you opened your heart window.
Pass the one that happens
Because
Human finds the right [correct] one with his/her mistakes.
Human can never prevent [another] human’s mistake
Because
He/she will [spiritually] mature, [? It [mistake] will happen, ?]
He/she will find him/herself with his/her mistakes.
We became ready, we said for each event, “From HAK,”
[then] Whom do we find as faulty?
Our heart is full of my Allah,
Let our path be [to] HIM too.
We bowed, we submitted [ourself] to no one
Except HIM.
If you say, “Where is the beauty?”
[beauty is] In knowing that every one that happens is from HIM
Even though he/she says, “It did not conform [to my intention].”
Let the one that is in your heart not give load to your conscience.
Let one not revolt against what the destiny traces.
The one who can measure the love, can find peace in the universe.
Let no human know him/herself as alone;
The moment in which you say, “I am alone,”
You separate yourself from my Allah.
Loneliness is neither yours nor mine:
In each moment, we are full with HIM.
The moment in which you have a hard time, talk to HIM;
Have a heart-to-heart talk with HIM.
The One Who will give your remedy is HIM.
Human becomes partner in human’s sorrow with word only, [human shares human’s sorrow with word only]
Even if he/she is mother, father.
The one who suffered loss in ill-gotten gain,
Let him/her not waste his/her time for nothing:
Let him/her put light shoes on, let him/her walk to vineyard, let him/her wait for the grape.
Let him/her not say, “Unripe grape.”
The difficulty is the one that the event carries away;
The one that comes, unties [is solved] even if it is late.
Think
Not that it does not happen,
But that you do not know.
The one that you do not know makes you feel sorry;
The moment in which you solve, you will be sorry that you felt sorry.
The one that has been being seen since yesterday, is untied on the [current] day.
The one who melts [him/herself] in his/her [own] suffering
Is the one who drags his/her heart in the emptiness.
Let sorrow wait for the solution. [do not feel sorry, spare “being sorry” until you see the solution [at which time, you will see that you did not need to be sorry]…]
What you see in cloud is neither form nor image.
Only the one that is on earth is image,
That means: going [to earth [image]], coming [to after earth life [The Reality]].
If you see, you know; if you conform, you find.
As long as you do not leave your oil lamp without oil, you do not stay in darkness.
[This verse may be better understood under the light of the following information: each human comes to earth with God’s Light. One may think of that Light like the fuel of an oil lamp. During his/her lifespan on earth, because of his/her bad intention[s], human wastes some of HIS Light. At migration time, spiritual level is granted according to how much of the initial Light human could save. Human who loses all of HIS Light goes to the dark space where there is no color. The dark space is the place that is called as “hell” in Abrahamic religious books.]
Neither did we choose the bee, nor did we give the ant up.
In “gazel,” we found the essence of the song. [gazel=1. Ottoman poet. ghazel, ghazal, gazel. 2. extemporaneous vocal taksim in classical Turkish music.]
Sadness,
Where does it start, where does it arrive, where does it end?
In sadness, earth’s past is remembered, one feels bitter regret for that,
Human consoles him/herself with the past.
The one that is called 'human' is image anyway.
However,
He/she knows that he/she comes from image in the moment when he/she comes to The Reality.
In coming [to after earth life], he/she sees the one that he/she finds. [he/she sees his/her spiritual level]
[? In coming [to after earth life], he/she sees The One That he/she found [while he/she was on earth]. ?]
We wished that each human knows [The Meaning], comes [to after earth life] while knowing;
[however,] It is seen not our wish, but if human is worthy.
If human did not take HIS path, it is because he/she did not ask [for it].
The path that is not known, is asked.
If you do not find anybody to ask, [then] one takes shelter in my Allah.
HE takes to the most right [correct] one.
HE is both The One Who calls and The One Who brings.
Each human who is worthy, finds his/her wish.
Beauty is in the heart of all [humans].
If you separate the birds, if you say, “Crow is ugly,”
Then you are mistaken.
Think of The Creator, think of the creation.
Each creation is not created
To be [an] ornament,
To ornament the universe.
There is beauty
In the form of some, [in some, in their form]
In the “zikir” of some, [in some, in their "zikir,"] [zikir=1. mention, mentioning. 2. lslamic mysticism repeating, silently or aloud, the word Allah, the ninety-nine names of God, or formulas which praise God.]
In the flower leaf of some, [in some, in the leaf of the flower,]
In the direction of some. [in some, in their direction.]
If you try to see that beauty,
Then you consider saying 'ugly' with your tongue, as [an] insult.
We did not take from well, we did not pour to your path. [flowing water flows to the ocean; water of well/lake does not flow to the ocean] [ocean==God; lake/well==religious fanatics]
In congregation, we found all [humans].
"The meaning of 'congregation' and 'all [humans]' is the same," is said.
What is meant by congregation is: all the ones who have the same intention.
[yet,] Does each assembly have the same intention?
It is necessary to prepare
Not the stomach for the food,
But the food for the stomach.
Do not say, “I wish that the jug is full.”
Whether it is full or not,
The one that will give peace to human, is his/her intention only.
Goodbye.

I am Mevlana.
We saw peace in hearts, we found the nest. [nest=Mevlana’s/Garib’s congregation]
We celebrated the day of earth.
“Let oil lamps burn, let them not stay without oil,” we said,
We have been prayerful.
We gave the day’s interpretation to Garib.
With smokeless congregation, hearts are pleased.
Each path is opened because it is good deed.
Thinking messes up The Meaning
Because The Meaning does not fit into thinking,
Because The Meaning is The Reality.
If it is not opposed, the end of the word does not come.
Opposition: authorization to [present] The Reality.
Whose is [the authority]: of course The Lofty One's.
That is what we say:
Each word starts with HIM, each word ends with HIM.
When it is opposed, it ends.
Without jug, there is no earth;
Without heart, there is no after earth life.
[the stone that is on your path:]
It is neither pushed nor thrown.
If you know that the stone that trips you is from HIM,
Do you find the fault in your eye or in stone?
If it is in eye, HIS blind humans would fall in each moment;
If it is in stone, [it is] like that again.
The one that is essential, is to try not to find the fault[y one].
When path is path, [of course,] it has stone.
My Allah Who does not separate HIS human, [my Allah Who does not discriminate among HIS humans]
HE does not pull the stone of the one who is on HIS path.
Stone is present again [in the case of faithful human],
However,
With the fire of heart, he/she crosses over the stone, he/she passes like that.
We came with our Real One, let us find our Real One, let us know [Darling].
When we know, let us fall in deep love.
That is the event.
If you insist and say, “[your] Footprint to [spiritual] maturation”:
I solved The Essence, I found myself in The Essence.
I fell in HIS longing, I was reunited with HIM like that.
You can not know the taste of the food that you did not eat,
You do not say, “Beautiful or ugly.”
For that [reason], leave the decision to The Lofty One.
The one that is good, the one that is bad,
The one that is straight, the one that is curved,
HE sees, HE straightens up.
There is no fault in HIM.
When human commits fault, let him/her not look for a place to load [the fault on];
Let him/her give to his/her own back, let him/her carry his/her own load.
[if he/she does so]
My Allah helps his/her power.
Each moment that you pass
Without thinking about the past,
Without solving the coming one [future]
Opens your path.
Each moment is born again, gives birth to events.
Neither does the past prevent this, nor does the future solve [it].
For that [reason], if you find HIM in each birth,
If you know HIM in each happening,
Do you not become as saying, “Eyvallah?”
Neither is your [destiny] line unrecorded, nor your path. [both your line and your path are recorded...]
Does the knowledge that you do not take, stay with you?
The torn [cloth] that you did not put patch on, day comes, it opens,
When it opens, one runs away from society.
Without eating, you can not be full;
Without drinking, you can not end your thirst.
[however,] What you eat is matter, what you drink is The Meaning.
Say to the one who says, “Would the bridge that I will cross, carry me?”
Throw your load [away] so that it carries.
The more you get lighter [less heavy], the more you see the bridge as wider,
[yet,] There is nothing that changes.
When you get filled with The Meaning, you pour the matter out.
If you get filled with matter, you go away from The Meaning.
The one that is real, is The Meaning.
If you say, “Do we not wish for any matter?”
If it happened by wishing, then “Wish without stopping,” I [would] say.
Its [matter’s] intention is not from human, but from my Allah.
Human sets up intention for HAK’s path only. [when human sets his/her intention up for HAK’s path/The Meaning, God sends spiritual guide; if human sets up his/her intention for matter, it is up to God to make the intention come true…]
Not according to how word comes. [it does not happen according to how one wishes for matter]
Whichever human whom my Allah sees as distant from HIM,
In order to make his/her humanity known to HIS human,
In order to make him/her find him/herself,
HE makes him/her fall in trouble that looks to be without remedy.
HE makes happen what HE says to, “Be!”
If HE gave according to [human’s] intention,
HIS each human would be rich of earth.
No human wishes for poverty.
For that [reason], I gave before,
Matter to the one whom HE wishes,
The Meaning to the one who wishes [for it].
I always say:
Let your pleading be to arrive in HIM.
HE created the universe for you anyway;
Say, “The universe is mine,” know like that.
[however,] Do not say, “Let me take its title deed.”

I am Mevlana.
Hearts are full [of HIM], each human’s path [should be HIS path].
My Allah, we came from YOU, we returned [to after earth life] like that.
We have been prayerful for all [humans].
We laughed with YOU, we cried with YOU, [whatever we experienced on earth, you made us experience it]
We saw from YOU [whatever we saw was YOU], we knew from YOU [we knew that every event/thing was created by YOU].
We wished to YOU, we took from YOU.
We did not seek from another door.
We saw all [humans] nicely,
Let greeting be to you, we said.
“Do not take without choosing,
Do not ask before seeing,
Do not roll up [conclude] before solving,” he said,
My Yunus entered the word. [My Yunus joined the chat]
If you wish without choosing, you seek from flower.
If you wish to solve, you ask from the saint.
If you wish to roll [it] up, if you want helper,
If you conform to my word, you find peace.
Beauty is in each flower,
However,
Not every bug is on [comes to] flower.
It gives to no bug, except bee.
If he/she does not take, if destiny is not written,
One does not say word about [it [destiny]/him/her].
One does not get out of the destiny.
There is no bad one of the destiny either.
If you say, “How is there not?”
Events are likened to “tafra” that climbs to the surface of the water.
Tafra: unnecessary goods, unnecessary attitude, unnecessary information.
“Let the pen write, let the tongue say to fill the jug up,” is said. [“tell us fortune,” is said]
One wants each event to conform to heart.
If it does not conform, one says [bad] word about destiny.
If there are no two faces of the event, earth would not find its order,
Human would not get his/her taste. [like fruits ripening and getting their tastes, humans get spiritually mature with events [and get their tastes/they become tasty]]
Because human does not come to earth with his/her foundation. [human is temporary on earth]
If you let the pigeon fly, wait for your [? its ?] news;
To waiting, add your patience.
The one that is on record, is not erased.
Events are not divided with [according to] human’s intention.
One does not go on the wrong path
Saying, “Each one that is written is from my Allah.” ['to go on the wrong path and claim that this is his/her destiny' is wrong]
Human can not change the destiny.
Human puts the smoke in his/her heart him/herself.
“Is it possible not be sorry about the events?” is being said.
If events are not going to happen, then what is the patience for?
If he/she is not going to cry, then what is the tear for?
If we give even the crying for HIM,
Do we not become as being mixed with HIM?
Is HE not The Creator of you, me?
Is HE not The Creator of all [humans]?
Know that what happened is from HIM,
Wait for what will happen, from HIM. [know that future events will be created by HIM]
Do not blame HIS human, do not stone your path. [if you blame other humans for events, then you put stones on your own path]
Earth [is] for you, for me,
Universe [is] for all.
What is meant by “all” is: with life, without life, with flesh, without flesh.
Separateness is in earth life.
In essence all One, in eye only LIGHT.
If you say to the one going out of the [HIS] path, “Stop!”
This is what he/she says to you: “Why?”
Voila, the one who does not ask that “why,” is the one who wins.
Before knocking the oak over, before turning the trunk,
You can not know its place, you can not pull out its root.
As long as our [spiritual] water flows,
The one who comes takes,
The one who wishes stays by [it].
Do not say, “Miserable human knows the faithful path.”
According to human’s view, saint is always poor, miserable.
Poverty is in getting free of earth merchandize.
[human acts poorly in getting free of earth merchandize]
[what is important is:]
To say, "Mine," [yet] not to claim the ownership [of the matter/merchandize].
The one that is yours comes with you;
The one that does not come with you, how does it become yours?
The one that will come with you, is your deep love only.
I became one with Yunus.
“Do I not have more word,” I said.
My word is a lot, as much as hearts take,
As much as each human plays the saz of deep love. [saz= stringed instrument (which somewhat resembles a lute)]
They get the flour from me, they take [it] to the mill,
They make dough, they knead.
Let my saying be door to The Building,
Let it stay open to each one who wishes.
If I am rich, if I set up the table,
How many of HIS humans' hunger do I allay?
[on the other hand,]
If I say, “My deep love,” if I say word about [it], I make [it] heard in the universe. [if it were about my deep love, it would be enough for the whole universe…]
In reality, The One Who allays is HIM as well as The One Who dresses is HIM.
Wherever you come from, wherever you grow,
You are from HIS soil,
You are from HIS leaf.
Who is The One
Who makes blue be worn,
Who makes green wrap,
Who makes red be asked for?
Let it not be said, “I can not give before I have,” [I can only give after I have]
Let the one that is present, be shared.
[when it is done like that]
The one that diminishes, is not seen.
My Allah does not leave empty the hand of the human who gives.
The one who finds the morning, does not wish for the night.
The most beautiful one of the day, is to the birth. [the most beautiful day is the day of migration [to after earth life], at which time one is really born]
Take your [washer’s] hand from your [spiritual] washer, drop the evil of earth. [when you take your saint's hand, he/she helps you, you go on HIS path smoothly]
Did you not see in [the case of] Adem [Adam]?
Did you not hear in [the case of] Havva [Eve]?
Did you not ask Ibrahim [Abraham]?
Did you not look at Isa [Jesus]?
Did you not take from Musa [Moses]?
Did you not conform to Mohammad?
If it is like that [if my Allah did not even favor HIS prophets]
Would my Lofty Allah say, “Whom do I separate from whom,
Whom do I treat favorably?” ?
In each event that my Allah gives, see HIS Greatness
Even if it does not conform to your heart, even if it does not come to you nicely.
HE sees each event, do not think that HE stays faraway;
Check your heart, you will find HIM there.
The only mistake of human is that
He/she perceives HIM only when he/she falls down.
My Allah is Forgiver of HIS human’s mistake. [my Allah forgives HIS human’s mistake]
The moment he/she perceives, HE erases all his/her mistakes.
[please note that perceiving is different than believing; in order to perceive, one has to understand HIS Meaning]
We saw the mirror, we put the universe in hearts.
“We set up our mansion on the bridge of Sirat,” you said. [bridge of Sirat=bridge which the righteous will pass over and from which the unrighteous will fall on the Day of Judgment.]
You entered my word. [you joined my subject]
Even though it is said that one goes to Sirat bridge with sheep,
I walked with heart.
Musa [Moses] left the palace.
Isa [Jesus] found the point in the universe.
Hazrat Mohammad made desert become path, made sand become one,
From Adem [Adam] to this day, he made all humans come together.
Knot [that ties/connects all humans] is in HIM.
Let it not be said, “The one who does not come from HIM.”
Every one who comes [to earth], is from HIM.
We said, "The mirror," we saw the universe.
Each point [doubt] that you erase, shows that you walk.
Both what you vow and what you pay are yours. [you wish for a wish to come true, and you promise God that you will sacrifice, pay something, if your wish comes true...]
[however,] If you do not look for trick in the one that will happen, you do not think of the one that you paid.
[? If you do not look for trick in the one that will happen, you do not think that you paid.
?]
[however, when one is without doubt [about HIS Meaning], one does not look for trick in future events, he/she does not think about vowing [one always knows what HE will give, will be the best one...]]
Do not throw [away] the wood that does not burn:
Strong fire burns it too.
I checked the hearts,
I collected bunch and bunch of flowers.
I am Mevlana, I came,
“There is peace in beauty,” I said.
