(chat on the day of remembrance of Yunus Emre)

I am Mevlana,

Let us say, “We saw nicely,” [we are welcomed]
Let us share ‘selam’s. [selam=1. Greeting, 2. Peace]
[in our case, ] There is no one who goes nor who comes…
When “we came” is said,
We say [about] the moment in which we come together.
We give the sun [to you while you are] in shade… [sun==Prophet Mohammad; Prophet Mohammad’s teachings; tree==Mevlana’s congregation; teachings of ONEness of HEARTs]
We said, “Selam,” we shared selam with you.

“Mountain can not cross the mountain;
If there is no deep love, deep lovers can not come together,”
He said, my Yunus entered the word. [he joined the chat]
“Ask [about] deep love to deep lover
Even though one said, ‘he/she does not know,’
Eat the food with spoon
Even though one said, ‘it is not eaten [like that]’…
I took the quince from the branch,
I asked human about the case,”
He said.
“It happened [before], it will happen [again]:
The soil will be filled with stone.
Its day passed, I consulted:
Stone did not come to soil,
It did not become foundation and it was not filled.
I did not know the future,
I did not see what would happen…” he said.

To ask human about future day
Is the fault of the one who asks.
The wise one who interprets
Gives of course according to direction.

You can not cover the sun as long as its night does not occur,
You can not push the night as long as its time is not over yet.

Smoke makes you search,
Makes you be looked after by the helper.

If you ask the rose: “Do you have trouble?”
“Nonsatisfaction,” it says.
If you say, “What about your thorn?”
“Lack of harmony,” it says.
If you say, “Is lack of harmony because of The Giver?”
“Never! Because of the one [human] who criticizes,” it says…

If you give yellow to interpretation,
It stays in softness.

Say to the one who says,
“See if you are not blind, hear if you are not deaf”:
Neither does the blind stay away from seeing
Nor does the deaf [stay away] from hearing
If he/she fell/falls in deep love,
If he/she hugged/hugs The One Who loves.
Who is The One Who loves?
Who is the one who is loved?
The One Who loves creates,
Makes the one who is loved search…

I came to tongue, I gave from tongue.
I entered the eye, I saw from there.
I took the hand, I wrote from hand.
I walked around the hearts like in the example of honeycomb.
I said to the one who said,
“’Are you bee so that you walk around [like bee],
[so that] You open to the day that is born?’:
I do not say partially: [I say as a whole [openly]]
The One Who gives to bee is HIM as well as
The One Who enters the heart.
If you took from the essence,
You find in word.”
I kept on and on searching my direction,
I combed heart in fading leaf.
I found Darling in every human who said, “Life.”
I saw in them, as such I matured [spiritually].
If you say, “What is the value of the one who matures [spiritually]?”
It is WHAT he/she finds.

Let there be no hole in your pocket,
Let it not be filled in pocket that has hole. [? Let hole not fill the pocket. ?]

The one who hears,
Let [him/her] not see you as different from what you are. [i.e. be as you are]
[? Let [him/her] not see you as different from what he/she is him/herself. [i.e. you too be among the ones who hear…] ?]

The one who runs saying, “Darling, Darling,”
WHAT he/she finds saying, “HE is, HE is,”
Is his/her return to birth.

“What is 'return to birth'?” is said.
Birth is cradle to “knowing;”
Birth is threshold to “finding.”
If you say, “Does the one who walks around find?”
Both the one who walks around and the one who discusses find.
Say to the one who says, “What does ‘the one who discusses mean?’”:
“To discuss” does not mean “to dispute,”
But “to chat.”
In the language of branch,
In the language of “hal,” [hal=1. state, condition. 2. situation, circumstances, state of affairs. 3. behavior, attitude. 4. the present time. 5. strength, energy. 6. trouble.] [hal==to find oneself in water, air, sand, soil, tree, leaf…]
On the path of lake,
In the science of sky,
What is meant by “to discuss”
Is 'to have [a] heart-to-heart talk with one another.'

Say to the one who says, “Universe [is] beautiful,
The one who chats [is] beautiful,
Where does ugly come from?”:
From the one who has no wideness.
‘The one who has no wideness’ is being asked.
When looking through narrow frame,
You see only where you look at,
You give the measure from there.
If you do not know about its speciality,
You can not see the beauty.
Each creation has its essence and its form.
[for example:]
Door is form,
Essence [is] tree…
For the door that you make from tree that you do not choose,
You [may] say, “Ugly.”
‘Narrow view’ is that.
If you say, “Does each one that is original, have its form?”
Nobleness takes name from form.
However, whatever name it takes,
With every “hal” he/she stays in The Original. [hal=1. state, condition. 2. situation, circumstances, state of affairs. 3. behavior, attitude. 4. the present time. 5. strength, energy. 6. trouble.] [hal==to find oneself in water, air, sand, soil, tree, leaf…]

Let the one who hears, come,
Let the one who asks, know,
Let him/her see who the one who washes [spiritually] is.
Bright night is known to be because of the moon.
When heart burns, it is seen from the life.

Mirage is known to be in desert;
In desert, heart is spun.
If the jug was full, [if human's jug was full with spiritual water since birth]
If His human could find like that,
If he/she said, “Amazing!” and stayed [like that],
Then there would be need for
Neither path nor traveler nor caravansary nor caravansary landlord… [traveler==human who takes the test on earth; caravansary==dervish lodge; caravansary landlord==mursheed, spiritual guide]

Say to the one who says,
“Let us ask remedy for trouble,
Where do we search and find [it]?”:
Search from The One Who gives the trouble!
[say to] The one who asks:
Search path from Darling!
If he/she says, “I searched, I could not find,”
Voila, trouble is that!
DARLING is in you,
Where are you?

We fell in trouble saying, “Give!”
HE gives to each one who wishes
Yet only to the one who does not call what HE gives, as “trouble.”
Trouble is the mirror of the trouble;
Remedy is the paramour of the trouble.

I am Yunus, I give,
I see the one who says, “Trouble,”
I melt [together] with each one who says [so]…
“Are you snow [so that you melt] ya Yunus!” they said,
They teased me.
If they tease, is it trouble?
Otherwise is our direction four?
“Let us vow,” we said,
They said, “Is your rooster too old?” [as if Yunus said: “I make a vow to sacrifice my rooster”…]
They condemned each situation of mine.
[however,] Let it not be forgotten:
They put patch on open hole,
Patch covered my fault,
My love for all of them increased.
To the one who says, “[but] The past day was trouble,”
Each trouble covered one fault of mine.
If it is like that, do we call [it] “trouble”? [if it is like that, how can I call it as trouble?]
[if it is like that] Do we cry on every day of trouble?
If we do not know, [then] we cry.
If we know, [then] we enjoy ourself,
We tie our love to all [humans]. [we love all humans]
My Yunus said.

Let my Allah be pleased with the ones who remember,
Let them stay with the ones who are remembered, [let them be among the ones who are remembered goodly]
He said, he wished for God-given share for all of you.

Let it not be forgotten:
God-given share is for everyone who wishes,
[however, what we mean by 'God-given share' is]
Of course ‘God-given share of The Meaning.’

Let depression not find you,
Let ‘longing for’ not stay in you.
When hand finds hand,
When eye looks in eye,
When “selam is from Darling,” is said, [selam: 1. greeting, 2. peace.]
Plead also for the one whose hand is not in hand,
The one who does not give his/her hand
Call him/her to unity too.
Hand of close friend does not burn,
Tongue of close friend does not demolish.
Neither storm nor torrent uproots the tree that is planted by close friend’s hand.
Beautiful [is] HIM,
Beautiful [is] the one who knows HIM,
Beautiful [is] the one who loves the one that/who comes from HIM,
Beautiful [is] the one who teaches to love to the one who does not know.
[however,] The teaching is not with tongue but with “hal.” [hal=1. state, condition. 2. situation, circumstances, state of affairs. 3. behavior, attitude. 4. the present time. 5. strength, energy. 6. trouble.] [hal==to find oneself in water, air, sand, soil, tree, leaf…]

It is not difficult to cross.
The path that you will cross
Does never leave you alone.

I am Mevlana,
Come, see,
Lay the pileless carpet onto the green grass.
What is real in human is the root,
Neither stone [that uproots] nor planter that uproots is found. [no one can uproot human's root…]

Say to the one who says,
“Rope is stretched in between,
Curtain of secrecy is hung [from the rope],”:
Neither is curtain in us,
Nor is vision in you. [vision==to see HIM in HIS creations]
Do not be mistaken: Fault is not said,
It is not given from the ‘curtain that will never be open’; [it is given from ‘the curtain that opens’]
Yet each event is opened day by day,
As such one passes from day to day.

Future causes curiosity.
What is hoped for?
Where is it from?
Even if you know, you can not solve the day that you did not live on [yet];
Even if you see, you can not pass the direction that is said [about].
Only, when its day will come, on [that] day direction will be yours.
What is written is yours, it is not crossed [out];
However, it is not solved before its day comes.
Let us know our day,
Let us thank God for each “hal.” [hal=1. state, condition. 2. situation, circumstances, state of affairs. 3. behavior, attitude. 4. the present time. 5. strength, energy. 6. trouble.] [hal==to find oneself in water, air, sand, soil, tree, leaf…]

Be entrusted to my Allah.

Goodbye.
Lailaheillallah Muhammedur Resulullah. [Allah is The only One to be worshiped, and Mohammad is HIS Representative.]

I am Mevlana,

Eat sip by sip. [spiritual knowledge is taken not like eating morsel by morsel but like eating sip by sip...]
I conformed to my promise,
I wished, I came,
I started day’s interpretation.

Issue: he/she does not ask you about the new one. [the new one==ONEness of HEARTs]

At the place where it is said, “He/she does not mature [spiritually],”
Sand’s path is not seen.

No curtain is hung at the door that is opened.

In every human that you count, [? In every human whom you respect, ?]
On every path that you conform to
Let you know HIM,
Let you see HIM.

You do not ask for reason,
You do not say, “Why?”
You are responsible for
Neither the one who passes
Nor the one runs away.

The moment in which you say,
“I conformed to the writing, I knew like that,”
You see the one that will happen as beautiful.

You ask about the door that is opened.
I gave before, “No curtain is hung.”

Look for trouble in the one who does not know HIM.

The Meaning does not enter the narrow [place].

If human knows the one that is written,
Then he/she does not worry about the one that happens.

The one whose God-given share is loaf [of bread]
Does not sell basket.

What the one who says, “It is enough if I know The Reality,” [the one who is content with learning about The Reality only superficially]
Does not know
Is that his/her day enters the worry.
Do not forget,
Trouble is created by human too.

The measure of the sky
Is the reality of your eye.

You conformed to birth, [you were born on earth]
You searched the path for [spiritual] maturation,
Then why did you fall in worry when it stopped? [then why do fall in worry when it did not happen according to your intention?]

Do not say, “If I knew to come to my senses”!
Each event of which you claim the ownership [each event that you wish from heart]
Is indeed from your writing. [God traces it as your destiny / God makes your wish become true [if that event is good deed for you]]
If it is like that,
To say “If I knew to come to my senses” is irrelevant.

Three pieces are left in your hand:
“Let which one be the trump?” you say.
Trump is the one that is in your hand
Not the one that is in your tongue,
Not at all the one that is your path.

What you call as difficult
Is not difficult when it comes.

“Is there migration?” you say.
There isn’t any!
One looks at the writing;
It is said with the permission of The Giver.
“What is meant by migration?” is said.
I said: trump is the one that is in your hand.
It will be given to the interpretation of the day,
It will be embroidered like in the example of embroidery.

Somuncu says: [Somuncu==a Sufi saint who lived in the 14th century]
Let us know to eat,
Let us laugh at tomorrow. [let us be happy with what we eat, let us be hopeful about tomorrow]
The one who can not take his/her eye[s] off the moon
How does he/she look at the sun? [moon==Hazrat Ali; sun==Prophet Mohammad; ocean==God]
He/she pulls paddle from the ocean. [he/she wishes for The Meaning [when one wishes for The Meaning, God sends him/her helper/spiritual guide…]]
Do not say, “I missed the ship.”
The moment in which you arrive,
You are in the ship.

“You gave the mirror to my hand,
You put my heart on HIS path;
You took my hand,
Then suddenly you left it,” you say.
The one who takes your hand
Does not leave it.
He/she sews the patch at the place where it is necessary,
Pours into your heart from the [divine] wine.
The moment in which you say,
“I am sad, I am left as separated,”
You should know that the one whom you wish for
Is next to you.

Let you find what you search,
Let you throw away the stone that is on your lap.
“I can not go on soft path,
I can not divide [disperse] if I see smoke,”
You say.
Don’t you say that each event is from Hak?
Don’t you try to conform?
If it is like that, do we say that events are stone[s]?
The one that is in your hand is not temporary,
It is recorded.
“It does not make [spiritually] mature,” you say.
“It is embroidered like in the example of embroidery,” I said.

Do not say, “Did I see the new one?” for each shadow that is temporary. [the new one==ONEness of HEARTs]

Deer is the one that gives
Not from tongue
But from heart.
“Is it the one that/who is traveler?” you say.
Negative.
Vision is either appropriate or in depth.
If you say, “Is that the one?”
It is not.

“My bright day is the day on which I am tied to my God-given share,” you say.
Your God-given share is not untied in any way.

To the one who is next to us,
To the one who asks about grapevine:
Do not run away from hard ground, [? Do not run away on hard ground, ?]
Do not worry saying, “What will happen?”

Existence is equal to nonexistence. [This verse may be better understood under the light of the following information: Allah created/creates the matter by transforming some of HIS LIGHT into matter. All matter that is visible to human eye is HIS LIGHT in the form of matter. HIS LIGHT, Which has no shadow, is The Reality; “matter-light” that has shadow is imaginary. However, since “matter-light” is also HIS, then “existence is equal to nonexistence…”]

There are all kinds of days.
Yesterday does not conform to today,
Today does not know tomorrow,
Human does not erase the worry.
Say, “We are at [a] time that is equivalent to sun,” [sun==Prophet Mohammad; the new one==ONEness of HEARTs]
Search the new one like that.

“I took bundle, let me get it ready,
Let me see what will happen;
Let me give to the one who will take,
Let me fall in love with endless,”
You say.
Is there any human [who is] without OWNER?
Let you be at ease, let you say:
“My Owner is The Lofty One.”

We gave [told about] the speciality of the water,
The beauty of the path,
You know.
Do not say,
“Four walls do not give path!”
My Allah is together with HIS human even [when HIS human is] within four walls.

On the day that is called as cold, you long for hot;
On the day that comes as hot, you grab the ice.
You talk about winter in summer,
You talk about summer in winter,
When the day passes, you open the page…

The one that is yours is the one that is mine;
The one that is mine is the one that comes to you.
‘Night-day’ is the one that gives,
That rolls all [humans] up,
That displays HIS table,
That shares what one eats-gives with all [humans];
It is not one’s Owner, but it is of course the one that serves its/his/her Owner.
Let it not be forgotten:
Each creation is on duty.

Connection of soft path to the new one: [the new one==ONEness of HEARTs' teachings]
Speciality is seen in one’s/its being,
Beauty is seen in the speciality,
One’s name is given like that.

We wrote-we gave,
We filled pages.
Did you erase [them] and throw [them] away?
[or]
Did you turn [back] and sleep?

On your earth day, our giving is permanent.

Did you find the bridge that you did not cross
As irrelevant?

Quilt is necessary to cover,
Wood [is necessary] to burn.
Every path that is necessary
Is open to HIS human.

‘Non-[spiritual] maturation’ does not come from us. [what comes from us is spiritual maturation / our chats make humans spiritually mature]
The one who is said about, “He/she does not mature [spiritually],”
If it is written, [his/her heart gate] does not stay as closed.

Be entrusted to my Allah.
