One falls in the interpretation
Of the one who works intensively and
Of the one who fights on the street.
Who is the one that
The one who says,
“I took bread,
There is no cheese;
I took the weed,
It has no fat,”
Will consult with?
Of course, the one who has his/her fat-cheese
Is the one knows [how] to take.
However, he/she is the one who does not know to give.
We passed the word,
We opened the essence.
"Let selam [peace/greeting] be," we said to all of you.
We gave breath so that you plead.
Let one not say,
“We took the birth, we stayed like that.” [we stayed as spiritually immature]
Each interpretation that is tried
Is from the one who takes his/her place.
At the place where you say, “We made mistake,”
Stay silent during only three breaths,
Turn to yourself;
You will see that the interpretation opens. [you will see that the interpretation becomes clearer]
Easiness that gives breath is seen in ayran; [ayran= airan, a drink made of yogurt and water] [when you drink ayran, all of a sudden you fill refreshed]
Our chat opens like that [too].
The one whom you say about, ‘On the long path,’
The one whom you remember from heart
Will enter the chat
At the place where you are,
In the moment when you remember.
He will give the chat of:
“How does its solution occur?
Where is the knot seen?”
“Either my hand or my foot:
My life stayed in my foot,”
He said, my Yunus entered the word. [my Yunus joined the chat]
“Path of shore opens,
One passes gladly.
Selam [peace/greeting] to the one whom we remember,
Selam to the one whom you remember.
When it is said about,
'There or here?' [in earth life or in after earth life?]
One laughs at the game,
He/she is the one who wishes to come in every moment." [when one knows that life on earth is indeed imaginary, that it is like an imaginary game, then he/she is ready to go to after earth life in every moment...]
“We said four corners, [we said all directions]
We always received with open arms.
We flew on paths like that.
We opened notch, we passed.
We said, ‘Life,’
We saw
The ones who passed through life,
[we saw] Thousands who migrated;
We spread our name with them,”
He said, Mustafa Kemal came.
“You made my name lofty,
You shared my heart.
You found what was helal
With your life,
With your blood,
With your faith that was equal to your deep love.
‘Our grandfathers,’ you say,
You delegate to them.
What grandfather will give, is to you,
What you will give, is to your child.
When it is like that, all share,
Deep love does not die,
But fuses.
Each sea that waves, [each sea that is wavy]
Cleans its trash with its waves,
Refreshes itself.
Neither does it lessen,
Nor does it end,
Nor is it used up.
Let it not be forgotten:
Weak ships sink.
[on the other hand, in strong ship:]
One still holds hand in hand from seven [years old] to seventy [years old].
Do not be scattered,
Be one.
You said, ‘Come,’
You remembered.
You asked path from hal.
‘Let help come,’ you said.
I did not go,
I am always here,
I am at the place where I am remembered.
‘Where is the place where you were erased?’ is said.
The one who looks in the mirror sees what he/she looks at,
Gives that to interpretation.
If I was said about, ‘Tough,’
It is on the day of dry branch.
If I am remembered as drunk,
It is in the secret of the body.
Let there be no sadness of the one who loves.
The one who comes to sun, [sun==Prophet Mohammad]
Knows the birth. [birth==1. one coming to his/her senses, 2. migration to after earth life]
Let
The one who criticizes as well as the one who loves,
Take from life,
[let him/her] Be one in Darling.
[similar to how] Sheep-lamb bleat,
The one with worry, the one without worry
Have heart-to-heart talk.
Neither does the one who searches, complain
Nor does the one who says, “I found,” stretch [brag].
If we open the trunk, do we find the new one?
Do we take the old one?
What we know is ours.
The new one is my word [that I will say in the following 6th, 7th, 8th verses].
“What is the one that we know?” is said.
What we know [is]:
What we take since birth,
What we see from mother,
What we conform to saying, “Our book [Koran].”
The new one: [the new one==ONEness of HEARTs teachings]
Is not The One That we can not know
But The One That we can not find.
WHAT we can not find,
Is because we can not conform to.
Our water is nourished with your love.
Earth is decorated with your love.
When one gives hand in hand,
Each event is erased,” he said,
He said that he loves all [humans] as much as you love.
To chase after the one who runs away
Belongs to the one who is deprived of place, of path. [place==place in after earth life; path==HIS path]
Omar says:
Judgment of war occurs in [case of] defeat; [war==war against ego]
Its song is sung in [case of] victory.
If it is like that
Neither the winner
Nor the loser
Enters interpretation.
Only the aim of the war should be known,
There should be one’s chat on HIS path.
If notch covers the path,
It is in the direction of the one who hears.
How?
Vision of the one who hears is open.
Does bard sing?
Does deep lover chisel tree?
Does one lean his/her back on bulrush?
If firewood is powerful,
If it gives smoke in hand, [if it gives smoke while one holds it in his/her hand / when one holds a torch in his/her hand]
What is the interpretation of the one who sees?
Some say, “For the one who will warm up,” [he/she is trying to warm him/herself up]
Some say, “For the one that will be illuminated”… [he/she is trying to illuminate in order to see]
I am Mevlana.
We brought writing like in the example of carved design
From the one who says, “We brought armful of greeting,”
From the one who gives his/her word to all [humans].
“Say to the one who says,
‘We came from ground - we will return to ground’:
We knew the birth with The One Who said, ‘BE!’
We stayed at the place where HE said, ‘BE!’
We erased the breath like that.
Breath is erased,
Ego is divided.
Each piece that you divide
Stays away from the body,”
He said, Hazrat Davud came.
Know the one who disperses, as offspring, [know humans who multiply in number every day, as your offspring]
Find your place from the summit.
There is maturation of each birth,
There is covering of each happening [event].
(Question: What does “Know as offspring” mean?)
We took the one that is asked.
There is no place for worry
If you do not give what you know
To the one who comes from you.
Plead that he/she finds from the summit,
Similar to how you find,
Let him/her mature [spiritually] too.
Even if it is said,
“Whoever has the trump,
The winner is him/her,”
The winner is the one who opens his/her hand, [i.e. in a card game the winner shows his/her cards…]
Not the one who takes the trump.
The hungry one finds consolation from the hungry one.
When the full one allays the hungry one’s hunger,
He/she is pleased from heart.
Let my Allah give all of us heart pleasure.
Let HIS human stay away from the place where the wall collapses. [let HIS human be close to the place where the wall is built / saints and humans build the wall hand in hand / wall==The Meaning]
“Does bard not sing?” is said.
Of course, each one who wishes sings.
Bard both sings and makes sing.
We are by the stove,
We are in the [spiritual] food of all [humans].
We cleaned the soil,
We are at the beginning of planting.
(Question: Then are we going to plant now?)
Eyvallah.
“What is ‘by the stove’?” is being said. [what is meant by "by the stove"?]
Our chat.
If tree gives hand to tree,
It is called ‘forest.’
If the crop is gathered on one field,
It is called ‘threshing.’
If the brave ones play with one another,
It is called ‘seymen.’ [seymen=young man who is traditionally dressed, armed, and mounted (in order to celebrate a festive event).]
If all of us fuse with one another,
[then] One celebrates the festival.
Be entrusted to my Allah,
Come to festival as ready.
(Question: Are we going to migrate together?)
Beauty [is]
In entering the festival before migration [to after earth life],
In knowing the festival in togetherness,
In seeing the decoration of the universe
On each branch that turns green,
At each bird that sings.
Your aim should be
Not even hurt HIS dust.
There is no mistake.
My word is to the one who says,
“Do we not touch the dust?”:
If you clean the dust angrily,
What you will break hurts you.

Our place, our direction [is] in hearts.
Our coming is in the moment when we are wished for.
Let selam [peace/greeting] be to all of you.
