ONEness of HEARTs
VOLUME 3
Part 12

5 August 1976

I am Mevlana.
Sky-face [sky] gives its color thanks to the coming;
HIS humans find their equivalent thanks to love.
Let selam [peace/greeting] be to all of you,
Let the one who searches The Reality, find.

In each event that you accomplish,
Do not look for spectator.

If you saw the ship, [ship==ship that sails on the ocean; the crew of the ship are saints] [ocean==God]
Do not use the storm as excuse [in order not to get on the ship].

Search the new one in your heart, [the new one==ONEness of HEARTs’ teachings]
Not in Yemen.

If you say,
“Let him/her stay as he/she comes from there,” [let him/her stay as he/she comes from 'before earth life' to earth]
Then you find your conformation,
Then you become full with good deed.
[The above verses may be better understood under the light of the following information: At the time of birth, each human is born with the same amount of HIS LIGHT. However, during lifetime, human wastes his/her LIGHT because of bad intentions. At the time of migration to after earth life human spirit is granted its spiritual degree according to how much of HIS LIGHT he/she could save. It is best for human to save all of HIS LIGHT that he/she has at the time of birth…]

Each branch is connected to its root;
Yet the yield of each branch is not one [the same].
Is the fault
In branch,
In tree,
In root,
[or] In soil?
If the soil gave,
Then the tree takes.
[however,] The taking power of the branch
Is in accordance with its conformation.
If you say,
“How is its conformation?”
It is the place where it looks at the sun. [it depends on how much sunlight it gets...] [sun==Prophet Mohammad]

It is known that it is said,
“Is the yield of ‘Celal’ and ‘Cemal’ the same?” [Celal=Allah's attribute meaning '1. Greatness, 2. Anger' ; Cemal=Allah's attribute meaning 'beauty of face']
It is necessary to see the constitution of each event. [it is necessary to see how each event happens]
[for example:]
Rain
When it comes with wind, it hurls,
When it comes with torrent, it sweeps,
When it comes calmly, it brings down to its root. [it waters the soil]
Yet all of them are rain.
The one that/who is carried away by wind, by torrent is
The one that/who has no root,
[is] The one whose foot does not stand on the ground,
[is] The one who does not lean his/her back on The Lofty One.
If you say,
“Is each one who leans his/her back [on HIM], powerful?”
If you separated the power from matter,
“Of course!,” I say.

“Is wideness, door to destiny?” is said.
“Exactly,” I say.
“Wideness in what [kind of] word?” is said. [wideness in what sense?]
I became [heart] washer,
I saw what happens in hearts. [? I saw What matures in hearts. ?]
Wideness of the [spiritual] table is the measure of The Reality,
Wideness of the table [is] the measure of the pleading.

What you wish to take,
The fact that you erase the interpretation from the return [that you do not speculate about after earth life]
Is good deed…

Coral reminds [one] of the sea.
Beauty makes colors be found in harmony.
There is no mistake:
Say,
“What happens is my writing,”
As it happens, find [it] as beautiful.

The One of Whom you search HIS earth:
[HE] Gives only the image,
Stays away from intention.

On the rope that you stretch,
What you hang is seen.

When looked from the tree,
“Appropriate,” is said. [branch==saint; leaf==human]

What you call as “I created,”
Is your intention,
It is not the event.
‘To create’ is not worth of human. [human is not allowed to create]
[The above and the following two verses may be better understood under the light of the following information: Allah created/creates the matter by transforming some of HIS LIGHT into matter. HIS LIGHT is shadowless, matter is imaginary. HE lets HIS Matter act according to rules that may be expressed mathematically, and allows humans to discover these rules that they call science. Some humans think that, by knowing and applying these rules, they command the matter. In fact, Allah is in complete control of HIS Matter in every moment; HE is The One Who creates all events...]

If you say, “Is there migration?”
“There isn’t,” I say.
[Previous verses may be better understood under the light of the following information: Human takes the test on [imaginary] earth to be accepted to The Reality according to his/her spiritual degree. There is no death but 'migration to after earth life.' However, what we call as 'migration' is indeed not a migration as we understand in matter world [i.e. moving from one place to another]; It is 'lifting of the curtain that separates our eyes from The Reality'...]

Society is worth
Of solving,
Not of tracing.
Search path for the event that was not tried. [for the event that you encounter for the first time]
You will see,
HE will take [you] door by door.
At each door,
One will witness
That HE protects HIS human whom HE created.
I said to the one who stands opposite to us,
The one who asks the door from the door.

What you brag about
Is not because of The One That is seen
But it is the one that you say about, “My hand will trace,
My tongue will solve.”
“What does my hand trace?” is said.
[it traces] What you call ‘my destiny,’ which you conform to.
When you enter
Not the exterior
But The Essential Building of The Reality,
Then you solve thanks to tongue.
You will say,
“I took my soft path,
I said, ‘Eyvallah,’”
You will find your place [that is in after earth life] like that.
What is the one that you can not trace?
Your destiny.
The moment in which you say, “I conformed to it,”
Then you solve.
You will mature [spiritually] as example.
“Where?” is said.
In The Essence of The One Who writes,
In the eye of HIS human.

Try to cross not with oath
But on earth;
Wait without suffering.

“Let me plant the corn,
Let me scatter the wheat.
I saw beautifully,
Let me look,”
He said, my Yunus came.
Let what I plant, what I scatter be to [for] you,
Let what I look at be to [for] us,
Let love fill hearts.
I threw stone to water,
I tried to convince the lamb.
Neither did the water complain
Nor the lamb.
“Did it not take my word?
Did it not know my saz?” I said, [saz= a stringed instrument (which somewhat resembles a lute)]
I stood by the water.
It became visible to me,
I looked at it,
I ignited torch of chat in water.
To the one who says,
“Water is not ignited,
Shadow does not look at its original”:
What I looked at, stayed in water.
“Let you look,” I said,
He/she looked, he/she saw him/herself.
I do not know what he/she ignites
Because I do not stay there.
The difference of the one who knows
From the one who does not know:
If he/she conforms to…” [the one who knows The Meaning conforms to events]

Our food is put on the table; [our food that is on the table==ONEness of HEARTs' teachings]
It belongs to each one who eats.
Meydan belongs to each one who enters [it].

The question of the one who says,
“Where do I take from,
Where do I stay?”
He/she will return from the place where he/she finds,
Not from the place where he/she takes-stays.

The day on which it is said,
“Let me be hand of Darling,
[let me be] Tongue of Darling,
Let me find HIS ONEness”
Is the day on which you get free of your load.

The word of the one who says,
“I embroidered the surrounding,
I dreamed of The Beautiful One.”
Let it be known that the night transforms,
Reaches the morning.
[The above verses may be better understood under the light of the following information: during sleep spirit of the human who has permission from Allah meets with other spirits of the same spiritual level and/or his/her saint. This takes place in LIGHT…]

Let one not say,
“On my earth, during my performance,
My wool ball became knot, [wool ball==lifetime on earth]
Knot stayed in my hand.” [I could not untie the knot==I could not solve the earth problem...]

The place of the pleading is abundant, [one should plead as often as possible, everywhere, on every occasion…]
It is the hal that is beautiful.

Do not ask path to the one who stays [behind on HIS path],
Do not give thorn to the one who goes [on HIS path].

Try to be smokeless,
Say,
“I took the mirror in my hand,
I saw my own face.”
If you say, “How did you see?”
As I looked.

Do not connect the [current] day’s interpretation to future.
Future does not depend on you.
Each moment is new.
Future [is] newer than new.
Let the one that you try to solve
Not be the future.
Wait beautifully,
Find beautifully

Do not enter the narrowness,
Know The Being.

Do not say,
“Taking is faraway from us.”
[on the other hand,]
Do not desire ‘taking’ greedily [either].
“Why?” is said.
[because] What you take, what you do not take is from HIM,
Not from you;
From HIS writing,
Not from your effort.

Do not say,
“Will it not happen?”
It will happen.
However,
Cloud will come first,
Then rain will come down.
If it is like that,
Is cloud [a] trouble?

It is the hand of the one who said, [Saints used to write the chats using Garib's hand. This verse points out the saint who uses her hand]
“I came, I gave.
I put my heart [I fell in love with]
From right to left,
From east to west.”
“Try not to hit
But to love,”
He said,
He gave his picture,
He walked.

Stopping does not give,
Walk.
Asking is not enough,
Search.

“Who?” is said,
Picture is asked [about].
The name [of] ‘Osman’ is remembered.

Path belongs to the one who asks,
Who says, “From where?”,
Who matures [spiritually] in [during] sleep.
[The last verse may be better understood under the light of the following information: during sleep, spirit of the human who has permission from Allah, meets with other spirits of the same spiritual level and/or his/her saint. One’s spiritual education continues at those meetings…]

Be entrusted to my Allah.

Know that you take.
At the place where water flows,
There is no word of ‘waterlessness.’
Human who takes
Does not stay without water.
Can you say,
“I came as empty,
I returned as empty”?
If you did not take
Can you complain about the one that is spilled?
What is being asked
Is beyond the spring [source];
It is the one that stays not inside
But outside.
When HIS direction is found,
If [an]other direction is asked [about],
Then he/she is
Not toward inside
But toward outside.
There is no mistake.
Let you say,
“I took, thank YOU,”
Let you know your heart as bright.

Water is not added to flowing water, with bucket;
[if added,] The one that is added is not [even] considered as [a] drop.
How much ever you take, flowing water does not lessen.

Say,
“Let me stay as I was [at my birth time],
Let me find as I stay.”
Let one’s pleading be like that.
[It is thought that the above verses are about saving HIS LIGHT That one has at the time of birth. This was explained previously in this part 12 [above] and elsewhere at many places in ONEness of HEARTs.]

Let my Allah be pleased with all [humans].

Goodbye.
Lailaheillallah Muhammedur Resulullah. [Allah is The only One to be worshiped, and Mohammad is HIS Representative.]

11 August 1976
(Berat day/night)

I am Mevlana.
I came to plead,
I found in pleading, [I found thanks to pleading]
I saw in pleading. [I saw thanks to pleading] [vision==to see HIM in HIS creations]

I greeted
The one who goes on the path to the new one, [the new one==ONEness of HEARTs; the old one==old spiritual beliefs]
The one who asks about the day to the old one.

Let my Allah be pleased with all [humans].
Let one come from interpretation to word.

There is none that you do not take [==you take everything]
From the one that is given,
When your sand is sifted.

There is no shadow of the day
When one opens his/her hand [to pray], [? When you open your hand [to pray], ?]
When one says, “My Allah”… [? When you say, “My Allah”… ?]

My Yunus says,
“It is still preferred,
Even if there is no promenade in the shade;
Like that or like this,
He/she will mature [spiritually] according to his/her destiny.”

Let the essence of the day
Conform to the word of human.
Let HIS each human
Hear [feel] HIM in his/her essence.
Let him/her hear, let him/her know that:
HE is in you,
HE is in me.
Let him/her hear, let him/her see that:
HE is in every one who knows HIM.
[HE is] In the one who knows HIM as well as
In the one who divides as well as
In the one who takes shelter in the shade and sleeps.

“What a pity!” we said,
We felt sorry for the situation of the one who sleeps.
“Does the day pass the day in sleep?” we said. ["does one pass day after day in sleep?” we said / why does he/she not wake up, why does he/she not come to his/her senses?]

Like how flower opens,
Like how fruit ripens.
“What does it mean?” is said.
Flower attributes pride
Fruit [attributes] politeness
To its essence.
Each flower opens toward the sky.
When it becomes fruit,
It bends toward the ground.
Let us open like flower,
Let us pass to modesty like fruit.
[however,] The one that will open is the heart.
It is being seen.

The one who wishes
To take the ship,
To know its [? HIS ?] place,
To short cut HIS path:
We are not with the one who wishes [like this].
To wish to take
Is not ‘to take.’

Meydan belongs to the one who wishes…
In the name of ‘hay,’ we presented sip by sip… [hay==human separating his/her heart from his/her body]

Let it be known that green color spreads. [green==LIGHT color of Prophet Mohammad]
Let it be recognized that the universe
Belongs to the ones who are bright.
[however,]
'To be bright' is not with pen, with notebook.
It happens
By knowing close friend,
By respecting close friend,
By loving close friend.
Of course, if you are not close friend,
You can not love.
If you do not love,
You can not respect.

Religion is not by heritage,
It does not come from lineage:
It comes from the rose.
To the one who knows, it comes from temperament;
To the one who loves, it comes from hal.
...
...
My Yunus says,
“In the fight of human against human,
HAK is helper to the one who is scolded,
Not to the one who scolds.”

Our day opens door to good deed.
Let hearts be at ease.

Goodbye.
Lailaheillallah Muhammedur Resulullah. [Allah is The only One to be worshiped, and Mohammad is HIS Representative.]
