Question (Q):
What does “To know HAK in HAK” mean?

Answer (A):
To know oneself in HIM.
Hal of earth:
To distinguish between HIS Persona and HIS Attribute.
The One Who gives [is] HIM,
The One Who makes known [is] HIM,
The One Who makes [spiritually] mature [is] HIM,
The One Who makes found [is] HIM.
What does HE make found?
HAK.
One gets attributed with HIS Attributes.
In hal of earth, perception of HIS Persona [while on earth, in body, perception of HIS Persona]
Is not God-given share of every human.
On earth, let us be loaded with HIS Attributes so that
Our arrival at HIS Persona occurs easily.

Q: Does “The loading of the spirit with current” mean that one gets attributed with the Attributes of Allah?

A: Yes.
Which one is more efficient, workshop or factory?
Workshop is easier to set up.
Its labor as well as its expense as well as its operation [are] easy;
[hence,] Its efficiency is in accordance with that too.
According to its size, you can not take a lot [as output].
When its region, its operation, its size widen,
Its load increases too.
However, its labor does not come as heavy.

Q: What is meant by workshop?

A: Knowing [HIS Meaning], taking, giving.

Q: What does “the day’s interpretation" mean?

A: Development of the society does not change.
Consider the smallest society;
You see that it is the maquette
Of the biggest society.
We gave at the very first beginning of the writings:
Our words are never for a group of people
But for all humans.
[a] Group of people is indeed the maquette of all [humans].

From the biggest to the smallest,
The One That has no width, no length,
The One of Which the weight can not be measured,
The One That enters the heart of each one who takes.

Each spot is numbered [assigned/reserved],
No one can seat at another one’s spot.
Let one not say, “Does the one who comes early, seat in front?”

Q: When were these numbers assigned?

A: Everybody comes [with a] numbered [assigned seat].

Q: Is everybody’s spot, rank assigned before he/she comes [to earth]?

A: Posts [ranks] belong to persons who are chosen.

Q: Does Allah choose those persons in the other world [before coming to earth], or do those people make themselves chosen in this world?

A: Spirits make [them] chosen.
Tree opens its flowers all at once,
Makes, sheds its fruits all at once.
[however,] Some come into being early, they ripen early,
Some ripen late.
It has not been seen that fruits ripen all at once.

I am Mevlana.
Passage opens, one sets off on the journey.
My Yunus says:
Apples do not come to an end by being eaten.
Our path does not go beyond thinking. [our path helps one perceive through thinking; this is not like learning a subject that is about matter…]
Do not be mistaken, it is hal of earth;
Human’s going is in the return only; [human learns The Reality when he/she migrates to after earth life, and is granted his/her spiritual degree only then]
With body, you can not find the path that is wished for.
If you do not conform to hal, you can not come to peace. [? If you do not conform to hal, you can not arrive at His Presence. ?]
Seed is the one that is thrown in every case,
It is the one that is added to soil.
If it is not thrown, it is not added,
[then] It does not give what is desired from the soil.

'The hal before coming to earth' is being asked,
Spirit’s form is interpreted.
Search in water, find in its form.
“Sleeping spirits,” we said,
We gave 'the cloud state' of the water: [sleeping spirits are analogue to the cloud state of the water]
Cloud becomes rain, falls drop by drop,
It joins the whole on earth.
When it conforms to the sun, it finds itself, returns to its essence.
“What happens if it does not join the whole,
If it does not find thanks to the sun?” is said.
What [do you think it] would happen? Ice!
Whatever it becomes, let it still find thanks to the sun. [sun==Prophet Mohammad] [rain drop==human spirit] [analogy with humans]

If one asks about lifetime, if one interprets one's [migration] day:
Neither before nor after. [one migrates to after earth life at the time that is written in his/her destiny]

"Is there [spiritual] immaturity in every heart?” is being said.
[spiritual] Immaturity is the intention that is not set up,
Not the one that is written.

Is the night of the day non-existence?
Beautiful, ugly, bitter, sweet
are not beyond the birth. [birth==migration to after earth life]

Effort does neither mar nor improve what is being written.

Yahya Efendi says: [Yahya Efendi=Sufi saint who lived in 16th century]
If my hand is for me, then there is no need for my eye to be on you.
What is mine should find with you;
My eye should wish to see you like that. [We interpret previous verses as follows: humans are supposed to be hand in hand. If my hand works only for me, then there is no need for my eye to see you. We should find HIM all together, holding hand in hand...]

Horse does not look at meat,
Dog does not touch the weed with its mouth;
However, both meat and weed are all humans'. [however, both meat and weed are created for all humans]

You do not bend your head forward, before the sun rises. [sun== Prophet Mohammad]
You do not say, “Beautiful,” before your eye sees. [vision==to see HIM in HIS creations]                                            

Hawk flies around the mountain,
Stares at the lamb[, which is] in the herd.

"Let our day be bright,
Let one stay as pleased with the one that happens," he said,
Hadji Bektas entered the word.
To the beautiful one:
Let eye come to human,
Let path come as [let path be] flat,
Let word come to tongue,
Let all [humans] see The Reality, he said, he walked.

“Does eye come to human?” is said.
Of course it does.
Human who matures [spiritually] is the one who finds because of the eye. [vision==to see HIM in HIS creations]
What is being presented, is it through hand, [or] through eye?
The heart that we call eye, is the one that opens.

Question: Do you mean the one that opens to heart?

Eyvallah.
“From birth?” is being said. [is it a God-given talent?]
Thanks to taking, thanks to finding, thanks to contemplating [HIS Creations].
Unripe fruit is not eaten. [unripe fruit analogue to spiritually immature human]

Omar says:
In each grain that you separate,
See The Giving of HAK,
Take care of what you see:
If branch falls on the ground, make 'saz.' [saz=a stringed instrument (which somewhat resembles a lute)]
If you say, “Let me throw [it away],”
“You did not listen carefully to the sound that it gives,” I say.

Heaven [is] the one who loves,
Hell is the one who curses.
It is known that the one who loves finds,
That the one who curses freezes.
Wideness is because of pleading.
Heart is reunited with wideness thanks to pleading,
If he/she loved all [humans].
Give what you take from heart, to heart
So that what you take spreads,
[so that] Each one who wishes, joins.

Be entrusted to my Allah.

2 October 1975

I am Mevlana.
If we were drunkard, we would say,
“We drank wine, we lost consciousness.”
We saw as Beautiful, we gathered Beautifully, we gave Beautifully.
We became ember, we flowed from heart to heart.
Let greeting be to you.
We came, we looked
At the essences,
At the eyes that will open,
At the words that will be poured.

We took from the rose, we gave from the tongue,
We conveyed the greeting of the one who loves, of the one who is loved. [we convey the greeting of Prophet Mohammad]

Inability belongs to the one who knows [The Meaning], not to the one who does not know.
The one who knows, burns [in heart],
The one who does not know, turns [around without coming to his/her senses].

The day’s chat [is] in all [humans],
All [humans] [are] in the universe.

Beyond vision is not from you. [vision==to see HIM in HIS creations]
“How?” is said.
If you saw, it is because of The Giver,
Because of The One Who partly opens the curtain.
Do not give measure to yourself. [do not credit yourself / do not think that you accomplish that on your own]

Let us be darling of the one who says, “My life.”
Let us find in life, let us give his/her direction to HIM.

One asks from the rose:
“Are you from the ones that give sound to the nightingale?” [does the nightingale sing because of you?]
Nightingale says, “Be from the ones that know.”
Both the butterfly and the bee know.
Some [of them] become decoration, some take from its honey.
Nightingale shouts its deep love.
Deep love belongs not only to the one that sings
But also to the one that[/who] listens, also to the one who thinks.

When crossing, deer does not stop,
The one who loves it, does not shoot [it].
Eagle does not come to your path,
Even if it comes, it does not give you.
Smoke does not block your path,
Does not spill your water;
If you found your place,
Even snake does not change [your path].
The essence of the word: [the moral of our saying is:]
Heart is yours, path is yours,
Set the intention up, walk.

One passed from word to essence,
Path opened for chat.
Yunus took his place [in after earth life],
At the place where he took, he stayed.
I and you: we came to give them,
To the one who loves, to the one who does not love,
To fill his/her pot of [spiritual] water.
We came to go,
[we came to stay] Until lifetimes end.

Our path [is] from LIGHT.
We gave our hand.
Let us be cover on the roof,
Let us all endeavor,
Let us convey greeting from HIS rose, he said,
Ali took the word.
Do not retreat to shade,
Do not avoid the sun, [sun==Prophet Mohammad]
It does not burn.                                                    
The Reality does not revolve.
Return of the one who goes, does never occur.
ONE is said, one stays in ONE.
The one who comes from HAK, will return to HAK,
Will have enough of earth.
Whether he/she has enough or he/she burns,
He/she will wake up at the end.
“Waking up” is “knowing.”
Do not pity the one that[/who] comes from HIM,
Do not avoid the one that[/who] gives from HIM.
The one that comes, goes,
The one that stays, returns to you;
Do not withhold what HE gives.
Do so not because you pity,
[but] Let “to share” be your intention.
We took greeting, we gave greeting,
We brought [other saints’ greetings] here, we brought [your greetings] there,
Let them take [our teachings], let them spread [them].
Let them know that the return [is] exactly the same [as coming], [let them return to after earth life without wasting The Light that they had at birth time]
Let them find welcomer [when they migrate to after earth life], he said. [let his/her saint welcome him/her when he/she migrates to after earth life]

I am Mevlana.
The one who looks for partner in his/her crime,
Is the one who accuses him/herself.
You, whom have you been partner with so that you seek partner for yourself?
For birth you said, “From HIM,”
[then] Why did you look for [another] post in the occurrence [of events]?

Is the shadow of the tree because of
The tree, or the sun, or the branch, or the leaf?
What is called 'research,' is not reason [to question HIM].
Search,
However, [search] without saying, “Why?”, without damaging its place. [perform scientific research however, do not question The Creator by saying, “Why?” and do not try to change the order that HE created]
Let you know what happens as it happens, [accept events as they are]
[let you know] The one who asks as he/she divides.
Intention does neither make [it] happen nor make [it] divide. [all events are created by Allah; science progresses as much as Allah allows…]

What you give as alms is the one that does not belong to you;
Do not stretch [do not brag] saying, “I gave.”
If you take alms, it is yours;
Do not regret saying, “Why?”
If you committed sin, take shelter in HIS pardon,
Do not cover yourself with the good deed of someone else.
Do not reproach the one who makes mistake for his/her mistake,
Do not say, “If I can not reproach, he/she does not correct [his/her mistake].”
The Creator of each human is ONE.
The One Who sees is HIM,
The One Who will correct is HIM too.

What you will see
At the home of the deer,
In its cub that is at home,
Is what you will learn throughout your lifetime:
There is only love there.
Deer is the symbol of the one who loves as well as of the one who is loved.

“How does it [i.e. the subject about deer] conform to the essence of the night?” is being said.
The essence of the night is nourished with love,
Earth is decorated with love.
Is 'bayram' not the manifestation of love? [bayram=religious festival, Bairam; national holiday; festival, festivity]
Deer does not take from you,
It is with what it has on itself.
“Why is deer remembered, why is it told about at [this] night?” is being said.
The Reality is seen when its day comes.

Greetings became one with you, with us,
HIS Blessing rained upon all [humans].
Universe was remembered with each one whom/that exists.

Be entrusted to my Allah,
Stay forever with greeting.

3 October 1975

I am Mevlana.
'Coming into being' of our place
Is according to how our day is filled.
Is the place of each one who comes, one [the same]?
Is the path of each one who asks, one?
[however,] Even if the paths are different, the outcome is one.

Let greeting be to all of you.
Let one find the essence in beautiful word.
Let it not be forgotten: no human asks from [about] the one that passed;
Each human remembers the one that will come, asks from [about] that.
Coming is according to one’s place, to one’s direction.

What does the one who knows, not know?
I gave to question. [I asked]
In the answer of our question, there is the essence of the event,
There is the eye of the one who seeks HIS path.
If you read in HIS book [Koran],
Then it means that you know The One Who teaches;
Voila, The One Whom you do not know is HIM.
WHO is The One Who gives, who is the one who is given [to]?
If you took, you know The One Who gives.
There is mistake neither in you nor in me.

What is the one that is said about, “Read!” [Koran starts with the word: “Read!”]
Is it the one that is written, is it the one that is seen? [vision==to see HIM in HIS creations]

At the place where the hal of earth ends,
Path opens to after earth life.
On earth,
What is the one that prophets gave,
That saints spread?
It is from Whom?
At the place where earth ends,
Do the job of the prophets, of the saints end too?

If each human stays as he/she comes, [if each human does not waste The Light That he/she has at the time of his/her birth on earth]
He/she would not seek direction to the [HIS] path,
He/she would not say, “Chat,” he/she would not ask.
We came with permission, we gave only from HIM.
If it is read, [if one reads our chats, one knows that:]
Leaf does not fall without permission,
Bird does not flap its wing [without permission],
Water does not hit the shore [without permission].
[if each human stayed as he/she came to earth]
Human would not be educated. [there would be no need to spiritually educate human]

We come from HIM, we give from HIM.
In our giving, we give
Not from the one that passed,
But the one that happens in the moment when it happens,
[and] The one that comes, with [HIS] permission.
There is of course no mistake in the interpretation of the day.
[our] Coming [is] of course not to every human,
[our] Giving [is] not to every path:
[our coming and giving is for humans who wish to come] Only to HIM.

What will the one who is smokeless, take?
Who is the one who disperses human’s smoke?
We gave before:
Human’s coming is 'him/her being loaded with current.'
Taking is from the same path too.

Hearts search HIS path.
Let one not think that The One Who gives makes [one] tired.
He said before,
My Yunus gave:
Take - mature [spiritually] – know [The Reality before migration].
You can not mature before taking,
You can not know before maturing.
Our path is from HIM,
To the one who goes [on HIS path], we give that.

What is Koran?
The writing of The Existence.
Every one that exists [? happens ?] is recorded there;
If it is like that, what is given is from HIM.
The rest can be neither from you nor from me.
If you do not take from Koran, one can never give you.

Do you know the point[/dot]?
Do you trace the circle?
“If I am point, how do I trace the circle?” you say.
Voila, Koran is such that:
It makes the point trace the circle,
It makes the one who knows, mature [spiritually],
It makes the one who does not know, find.

At the place where there is pleading, intention is erased.
At the place where there is intention, it is thought that the destiny is divided.
Your mind takes you only to the one that will happen.
Think not of The Giver but of the ones who take:
The Giver knows what HE gives,
HE sees where you will take from, where you will leave [it].

What is lifetime?
It is not the end of the life,
It is the exhaustion of the breath.

If you ask the bad-tempered one about his/her temper,
“I am from the ones who hear,” he/she says.
If you say to the corrupt one, “You made mistake,”
“I am from the ones who see,” he/she says.
If he/she knows, he/she would neither be bad-tempered nor corrupt.
“The Creator created like that,” is being said.
Voila, the mind is such that:
Let one know his/her temper,
Let one ask if he/she does not know HIS path.
Both the bad-tempered one and the corrupt one will find;
However, he/she will be broken like in the example of walnut.
Similar to how when walnut opens
The one that is loved comes out from its inside,
Each human will arrive at his/her end like that.
Let us be walnut that is broken by hand,
Let us not hit the stone.

We came – we gave, we will come – we will give.
What is meant by coming is
To give hand from hand, [to give] the beautiful one from tongue.
We take from the rose,
We know from the rose,
We give from the rose.

Your Creator is searched
Not at the place where one lies down,
But at the place where one's deep love smokes [i.e. his/her heart is burning with deep love for HIM].
If one wishes, HE gives his/her place.
We give as wished.
We see HIM in all [humans].
What I say as “wished” is of course “the one that is made to be wished.”
I gave before:
[even] Leaf does not fall without permission.

“Order [orderliness] of writing” is being said.
I gave that too:
It is not divided by intention.
What is wished is the one that is made to be wished;
What is asked is the one that is made to be asked.
