I am Mevlana.
Let it not be said, “It is game,”
Let one not say [bad] word about his/her day.
The one that is real is the one that will come,
Will give the bright day.
Even if his/her word does not conform to the saying,
His/her heart will open like in the example of mirror.
There is no place for curiosity:
What is written will make his/her place be known,
Door will open not to the one that is old
But to the new one.
Word will be taken from the one who is on journey,
Will be given to its [? his/her ?] place after the dawn.
Let one not say, “[time wise] It is too far.”
It will be untied [be solved] on the path that is nearby. [it will be untied soon]
One came to its pleading [one pleaded]:
Negativity will transform into positivity. [? [spiritual] Immaturity will transform into his/her [spiritual] maturity. ?]

The one who comes to your foot [to your place], the one who says, “I am not drunkard,"
Salvation is seen in his/her effort. 
There is no place for curiosity.
My Allah gives permission for the one that is good deed,
The one that is not good deed is not written.
I told about the one that is asked from the path.
“Sincere effort to reach God” finds HIS place,
Service takes its good deed. [service on HIS path makes human earn positive/good deed points]
Each human sees as much as his/her good deed[s].
[for such humans:]
When “my place is [among spiritually] mature [ones]” is said,
There is no mistake in word.

The one who does not know to wear, let him/her learn to spread.
The one who does not know the earth, let him/her learn to ask.
I said [about] the one that is asked [about].

“What is the reality?” is said.
The reality is the one that is known,
[the reality is] The one that opens at the turn of the day,
[the reality is:] The happening of the one that is said about, “It does not happen.”
The existence of the sun is known.
How much ever you stay in the shade, you still can not deny,
You can not say, “There is no sun.”
If it is like that, to say “it does not happen” for the one that will happen
Is to speak before its day.
When the page is turned,
When back cover is read,
What you will see is the happening of the one that you say about, “It does not happen.”
If you go around the surrounding,
You see the face.
Future closes the notebook of the past,
Each day opens new page to HIS human.
Of course, the one that opens is good deed.
“Does he/she look at the new one,
[or] Does he/she hold on to the old one?” you say.
The new one wants [needs/requires] ability, the old one [wants] banister.
“Which one is good deed?” you say.
Banister [is] appropriate, [however] ability prepares the path:
Eye is necessary to see, [vision==to see HIM in HIS creations]
Tongue [is necessary] to say,
Hand [is necessary] to gather.
It is necessary that the one who knows the new one
Opens his/her eye,
Chooses the one that is wished for,
Holds one’s hand.
The one who puts his/her foot on the path [the one who starts walking on HIS path]
Is seen that he/she prepares his/her place [in after earth life].

Be entrusted to my Allah.

I came, I saw, I loved, I wrapped [embraced].
Let my Allah be pleased with all of you.
Let your each knot be untied
By the ones who take God-given share from HAK’s hikmet.
Let your pleading multiply in hand, in tongue, in heart
Like in the example of ocean, layer by layer. [ocean==God]
As much as HE knows you,
Let The Beautiful One make HIMSELF be known to you too.
You find the grapevine at its [? HIS ?] place, [you find] the grape at its boom,
You are revived in heart like that.

What happens [is] good deed, what does not happen is good deed too.

Does one say “yours” for the food that is not eaten?

Goodbye.
One does not say, “I left.”
The moment in which you say, “He is next to me,” I am of course next to you.
The moment in which you say, “He is in my life,” I am of course in your life.
Do not say, “He is late,” I am next to you in moment.

Goodbye.

24 January 1975

I am Mevlana.

It is said to what, it is searched from where?
It is asked from whom, how is it interpreted?
However it is said,
Let it be known that the outcome [is] to HAK.

Each event is constructive, the outcome is cumulative. [i.e. each event is a step toward spiritual maturation]
Even if the body disappears,
Our essence is everlasting.
If I exist, it is from YOU, [if I exist, it is because I am from YOU]
It is from Your Invisible Essence,
It is from Your word that is known. [i.e. "BE!"]

If I say, “Stay [on earth],” do you stay?
If I say, “Come [to after earth life],” do you return?

Let greeting be to all of you.
Let each one who comes take, let him/her know the peace.
I did not say, ”Let him/her find [the peace].”
Peace is “to know [The Meaning],”
Peace is “to die [before dying],” [peace] is to erase the body. [to die before dying == to know The Meaning while one is in body on earth]]

He came with armful of love,
My Yunus greeted.
The one who takes, did he/she take?
The one who knows, did he/she mature [spiritually]?
The one who loves, did he/she find?
We said before:
Take, mature [spiritually], know!

If you take rose and nightingale as one,
It is [so] because you say like that.
When it is enraptured, when nightingale sings,
It is seen that
Neither does the rose hear
Nor does the nightingale have enough.
I say that I know HIM in you;
If you see HIM in me,
It is because I say [so to you].
You can solve neither HIM nor me
As long as you do not know yourself,
As long as you do not see The One That exists.
Come as much as you come,
Love as much as you can give,
[love] To die with the deep love.
“Ya Allah,” he said, my Yunus walked.

Say to the one who asks saying, “Are you among the ones who stay [behind]?”
Let me be among the ones who find,
If I do not see, let me hear.
Path is convenient for the realization of the pleading,
We joined with heartful of pleading. [heartful==similar to armful]
Let one be at ease.
Let [spiritual] water be added to his/her sand,
Subject will be like in the example of mirror,
What is wished for will be seen in the mirror.
What is seen is the one that is in record of course.

The one that runs fastest wins the race of course.
However,
If he/she is not among the ones that get stuck on the path.

At the place where the [spiritual] water flows, one does not add word to word. [to add word to word==to mix the past with the future and to increase human’s smoke…]
Of course no unimportant word is said.

The one who blows with [into] “ney,” does he/she erase his/her worry with wine? [ney=musical instrument resembling a flute. Dervishes were spiritually carried away with the music of ney.]
If he/she says, “Worry,” of course.
However,
The one who knows ney and wine
Does not say, “Worry,” about any event. [he/she does not worry about any event in the first place...]

Omar says:
Play [do it] if you knew,
Say  if you saw,
Do not run away from what you know.
If you say, “I may lose my place, I may fall into disfavor,”
The moment in which you run away, you are erased from hearts.
If the one who knows does not say,
Whom does the one who does not know, learn from?

“We hoped,” is said,
If it does not happen, one falls in sorrow.
If what you hope for does not happen,
Is the fault in you
Or in The One Who does not give what you hope for?

Somuncu says:
We did, we waited, we added to four corners,
We looked over four doors.
“From the lives,” we said, we took the word of the one who comes.
What the one who is hungry will offer to the [other] hungry one, is only his/her word.
What the lover will offer to lover, is his/her “saz.” [saz=a stringed instrument (which somewhat resembles a lute)]
The last one where human will arrive at, is the door.
Do not say, “Do I enter?”
HAK’s door is never closed,
Enter without asking.
If you say, “Do I enter?” then you become as falling in doubt,
[then you become] As measuring your place.

The one who comes as guest:
His/her body is seen in his/her word,
His/her mirror [is seen] in his/her essence.
His/her word does not give him/herself. [one can not understand him/her [i.e. what kind of person he/she is] from his/her words]
[however,]
His/her essence, how much ever he/she hides,
It gives [him/herself] like in the example of mirror.
“Kemal [name meaning 'wise person'] reached [spiritual] maturity,
He/she erased his/her ego,” is said.
It is the reflection of his/her essence like in the example of mirror;
It is the reflection of his/her heart to the universe.
Only the maturity of HIS human who reaches [spiritual] maturity
Is seen by eye,
His/her [spiritual] measure is known from his/her body.

Let greeting be to all of you,
Be entrusted to my Allah.
Let you find the one whom you hope for, next to you.

Goodbye.

21 March 1975

I am Mevlana.
We did not know [expect] from spare, [we did not keep any spare [humans who doubt the giving of The Giver keep spares]]
We never said word about ugly;
We saw each hal as beautiful.
We knew each path as conforming, [we considered each religion/belief as conforming]
“HIS each human hears,” we said.
We greeted all of you.
We are as much pleased as you are.

If you learn the direction of the one who found The Reality,
Do you conform to its requirement?
Yogurt forms of course if there is milk.

The determined day's [==doomsday’s] time is given in the new one.
If you say, “Where do we seek the old one?” [the old one==old spiritual beliefs]
“Pass [give it up],” I say.

As one conforms, one finds [him/herself] at his/her place.
My Yunus takes the word.
If you add color to color, [if you do not discriminate among races]
If you do not pay attention to the one who interferes,
If you keep [learn] one syllable from HIS word,
You still make profit.
Is pomegranate loved because of its color or because of its equivalent?
“What does it mean?” is said.
It arrives at one in manyness, [although it is many, it is one]
It stays in the hand of the one who takes.
What I say is not puzzle of course.
However,
It opens like in the example of pomegranate.
You see the fruit as you take [it].
You give the word as you know.
In the giving of the word [the moral of our saying/our point is that]:
I wish that you conform, you hear.
[my word is] Not to whom [not to one person] but to all [humans].
The one that is called respect is neither to you nor to me:
It is only to the one who/that comes from HIM, to the one who gives from HIM.
If you say, “Let me love the one who loves,”
Where did you throw the one who knows?
If you say, “Let me love the one who sees,”
Where did you add the one who hears?
Do not add the worry of the one who does not give
To the vision of the [spiritually] immature one.
The one who is [spiritually] immature is [so] not because of the one who does not give, [but because he/she does not take what is given]
The one who does not give is [so] not because of the one who does not take, [but because he/she did/does not take any spiritual water him/herself in the first place]
Let them find the circle, [let them join the circle that humans form by holding hand in hand]
Let them hold hand in hand,
Let them see The Face in face, [? Let them see the face in hundred[s] ?] [==let them see Darling in all humans]
He said, my Yunus walked.

Would there be dust on golden path?
Would there be eye in silver skin? [gold==spiritual meaning; silver==matter; vision==to see HIM in HIS creations]

Let one not be suspicious,
Let one not blame one another.

Ill-gotten gain makes path from broken hearts.

Falling rain makes pit become lake,
The one [the rain] that comes a lot, makes torrent.
Whether it becomes lake or it comes as torrent,
Sun still laughs at all [humans]. [sun==Prophet Mohammad]

Let him/her arrive,
Let the one who is gathered, come,
Let him/her find as he/she came [to earth, i.e. without losing HIS Light That one has when he/she is born on earth].
[the one who does not find as he/she came:]
Let him/her beat the knee; [he/she will regret]
Let him/her bend down, let him/her kiss the soil.

The one who gives is loved as much as he/she gives.
Rain is loved as much as he/she sees.
“What does it mean?” is said.
When its flower opens, you love the soil;
When you see mud, you complain.
If there is no mud, does it give flower?
If it does not see the sun, does the snow melt?
Let it rain, let there be mud,
When its day comes, let its flower be collected.
Let us wait for each event on its day.

Let us look over each human on HIS path.
Let us say about worry, “It is from the ones that pass.” [do not worry]
Let us not say word in the evening about the morning.
Let it not be said, “He/she does not mature [spiritually], he/she does not find his/her place.”

Osman says:
Fight occurs between equals.
The one who is not equal, regrets.
“Our path is to our equal,” we said.
We never wished for the one who kneels down,
Because we never considered [anyone] as slave. [? We never counted any slave [because we never had any slave]. ?]

“May is the beautiful one of the day,” is said,
One dives into admiration like in the example of Yunus.
Let us say, "Eyvallah," let us be one with all [humans].
Let us set up the fortress in heart.
Let us say word to the well, not the well to us.
“Why?” is said.
Whether you love or not, you will see the one who comes to your path.
If he/she is from the ones who give, you will take.
My wish is that you are among the ones who give.

Be entrusted to my Allah.
Find on HIS day,
See the day that is wished for.

(chat at Mevlit Night [Mevlit Night=the religious celebration held on the evening of the Prophet Muhammad's birthday])

I am Mevlana.
From earth to sky, Beauty gives path,
Shows Itself in all [humans].
In the one whom you greet, the place of the love opens.
When The Reality is found, when hearts become one,
One knows heaven as residence.
Where is heaven?
Hell is in whom?
Heaven [is] in the one who knows,
Heaven [is] in the one who conforms,
Heaven [is] in the one who hears.
Hell is in the one who looks for peace.
Do not say, “Why [is] the hell in the one who looks for peace?”
“To look for” is “not to know,”
“To look for” is “not to hear,”
“To look for” is “not to see.”
The one who does not know, the one who does not hear, the one who does not see
Can not conform.
The one who does not conform can not know the peace.
He/she keeps on looking for [it],
In each event,
He/she hits his/her head.

Say to the one who says, “Let beauty come from sky to earth”:
What is the one that separates earth from sky?
Your foot is on earth, is it not sufficient?
If human sets up intention, there is no path that does not give passage.
If you do not take the one that exists, you can not find the one that does not exist;
“The one that does not exist is of course not found,” you say.
If it is so,
Why do you measure each event?
You, taking the one that happens, [you, conforming to events]
Means that you do not wish for the one that will not happen.
The one who finds hal in the hal
Is like in the example of being governor in desert.

What the one who hears knows, equals to what the one who sees reads.


I saw 'a lot,' on earth,
[however,] I held basket for little, [I did not fill my basket]
He said, Hadji Bektas entered the word.
If I fished in the lake,
If I honored the real brave one, with horsetail
I would head toward manyness.
If I put my forehead on ground,
If I found the universe from the summit,
I would reach singleness.
“ONE will exist,” was said, One existed;
“HE will be found,” was said, HE was seen;
Lifetime was woven like that.
Let us say, “Eyvallah."

Let us give the word to Numan. [now Numan speaks:]
Is sovereignty [? decree ?] because of flag
Or because of vagabond?
Sovereignty [? Decree ?] is because of good deed,
The One Who gives is The Creator.
What is seen in HIS Beauty is woven in HIS Dawn,
Each snow that falls is mixed with beauty;
One arrives with vision. [vision==to see HIM in HIS creations]
We became ready, we said, “My Allah,”
We found in all [humans].
“Let HIM make conform to The Giver of the nature,” we said,
We pleaded.
WHAT is sought when coming [to earth] is found when going [to after earth life],
[when going to after earth life,]
One takes off [his/her body] similar to how he/she came [to earth]. [human migrates to after earth life without body]
Of course you leave what you wore [i.e. the body],
He said, Numan walked.

Is cloud equal to cloud?
Is the sound that it gives, war? [do you think that the sound of a thunder comes from a battlefield?]
He said, Yesevi took the word.
With sheep, with lamb
We all came to tongue, [saints of all spiritual levels we came to communicate with you]
“Let you have effort for the generation that is after us [to guide them to HIS path],” we said.

"Let the faithful know HIS path:
I do not let the fish go to lake.
Let them dive into the ocean, [ocean==God]
Let them become mature like that,
Let them decorate the ship,
Let them stay without interpretation,"
She said, Meryem [=Vigin Mary] entered the word. [she joined the chat:]
Do not give narrowness of heart to the existence of your [? the ?] mother.
For the roughness [tyranny] of the one who hits, do not keep HIS human as servant.
I did not take to my foot,
I did not put to my ear,
I did not say, “Let me open the curtain and see.”
I did not fall in doubt about the power of The One Who opens [the curtain].
I saw the stone at the wall. [I did not see the stone on my path / my path was free of stones]
I stretched [hung] curtain over my lifetime,
“From You my Allah,” I said,
I pleaded.
They conformed to what was said to be from YOU,
They put [it] in basket like in the example of word,
“We took [it] to the market and we sold [it],” they said.
[I am saying about:] Not the child but my word,
My saying: “From You my Allah."
They do not take the new one,
They do not erase the old one,
When it is like that, they do not see The Reality,
She said, she connected the word to the day.
The flow of the day sets up balance with the burning of the sun:
Passage is opened.
Let salvation be with you,
“Let one set his/her heart free, let him/her connect [his/her heart] to all [humans],”
Meryem said, she walked.

Be entrusted to my Allah.
In the night when the birth is celebrated,
Take the greeting of the one who was born [i.e. Prophet Mohammad].
If they remember me like in the example of skin,
If they say, “Allah,” no matter what,
If they drain away the ego like in the example of sweat,
[then] Coming, finding is like in moment.
Let them not say, “I will not be able to cross”:
[humans] Flow like in the example of water, to the place that it is called “my ummet,” [ummet=1. Islam the Community of the faithful, the worldwide Muslim community. 2. those who believe in a religion founded by a prophet.] [ummet of Mohammad==all humans]
Human knows the place where he/she is called to, comes without doubt.
Ummet is in me,
Heaven is in you,
Mohammad is in all [humans].
Let there be
No judgment of the day, of the night,
No worry of the human.
Let him/her not come before saying, “My Allah.”
Is there anyone who does not say, “My Allah”?
If it is like that, [then] there is no one who stays [behind].
The Reality belongs to The One Who knows.
Who is The One Who knows?
The One Who creates, The One Who creates and protects,
The One Who sends [to earth] and calls [back to after earth life].
HE does not call before one says, “My Allah.”
When HE calls, one does not fall in doubt about the one who goes,
He said, he looked over the hearts.
[the above verses are thought to be from Prophet Mohammad]

Let
Greetings be yours,
Greetings be ours,
[let greetings be] For the one who sees The One Who exists, [vision==to see HIM in HIS creations]
[let greetings be] For the one who takes off what he/she wears. [for the one who erases the body]

We gave the ship to the path. [our ship is on HIS path]
We saw the break [time to rest] at the night. [let us stop for now]
We matured [spiritually] in order to exist,            
We loved to die for.
Goodbye.
