Our heads that we bow,
Our eyebrows that we frown
Will open the days to us;
Humanity will pass from the path that is wished.
Do not say,
“If I can not drink water from the fountain,
If I can not pass its bad paths,
If I can not distinguish the beauty of the creation
From whom to whom do I give path,
In whose word do I find the right [correct] one?”
He said, Mevlana entered the word. [Mevlana joined the chat]
You, if you know the right one,
If you find yourself in the right one
[then] There are a lot of things that you will give;
[this] Brings you beyond yourself
To the beautiful one. [? To The Beautiful One. ?]
Mevlana said,
“I joined the table of the poor one,
I saw HIS beautiful one:
They take [eat] morsel that is ‘helal,’ [helal=Islam canonically lawful, permissible, legitimate]
They rejoice saying, “Our stomach is full, our back is well covered [we are wearing warm cloths].”
They plead saying,
“It does not matter if there is no baklava, no borek, [baklava=sweet pastry generally cut into diamond-shaped pieces, baklava, baklawa; borek=flaky pastry filled with thin layers of a food (usually cheese or cooked ground beef)]
As long as uneasiness does not come to our home.” [as long as we are in peace]
Yunus Emre sings song,
He pounds his wheat
At the mill,
On mortar stone.
At each step that he takes,
In each sip that he drinks,
He remembers his Rab,
He waits for love from his Rab.
HE is The One Who is loved, Who loves,
HE is The One Who is praised, Who praises.
What makes human, human
Is the trust that one has in HIM.
If you trust HIM
[then] Each service that you perform
Merits praising.
Yunus Emre
Each line that he writes on earth
Is in 'kalem.' [kalem==the key of the secret of earth]
Read as much as you can read,
Weave as much as you can weave.
Meryem and Fatima [Meryem=Virgin Mary]
Came to our table,
They ignited oil lamps
In our surrounding of close friend[s].
They said:
Let
The ones who sit at the table,
The ones who make their food be tasted
Plead with his/her [their] Rab.
Let him/her see The Beautiful One That is in him/herself.
Hand of the close friend is in our hand,
Word of The Close Friend is in our tongue.
Our each word is from HIM,
From the ones that HE gives,
Our each word is to you,
From the ones that HE displays,
They said, they greeted.
We saw rightly on this world.
We will overflow to worlds.
In the world where we mature [spiritually],
We will be amazed at what we will know,
He said, Pir Sultan Abdal took the word:
Do not worry about the one that will happen.
Your writing will hold you;
According to HIS word,
One will add to success in the first ‘kalem.’ [thanks to HIS writing, there will be success in the first key...] [kalem==the key of the secret of earth]
To be next to, [to be] on the path of The One
WHO finds remedy for trouble
Is to erase the shadow,
Is to know that your Close Friend is next to you.
Hadji Bektas [is] in HIS ‘kalem,’ [kalem==the key of the secret of earth]
His chat [is] in HIS real world.
He laughs at all universe. [to laugh==to follow footprints of Prophet Mohammad]
He sieves the sand of all universe,
He makes one’s hand stay without stone.
He gives his tongue softly. [his chats are soft...]
His love is in your love,
His love is on your [? HIS ?] path.
Let selam [peace/greeting] be, let selam be, let selam be.
Allahu Ekber [Allah is The Greatest], Allahu Ekber, Allahu Ekber.
