BISMILLAHIRAHMANIRAHIM [IN THE NAME OF ALLAH, THE MOST MERCIFUL, THE MOST COMPASSIONATE]
I gave heart [I loved/I fell in love with]
To His stone, to His soil,
To His vineyard, to His leaf.
I promised for His work. [I promised to work for Him]
Before working hard
I can not hold close friend's [? Close Friend’s ?] hand,
[before working hard]
I can not take step to the place [I can not go to the place]
That is not God-given share.
Mevlana said:
“Look at every thing that you see as beautiful.”
Yunus Emre said:
“Hold the fruit that you can present.”
I said to each one:
When my hand is in you, [when [you and I] we hold hand in hand]
When my tongue gives from you,
Worries do not come to me.
The ones who are in fault, they do not laugh of course. [to laugh==to the follow footprints of Prophet Mohammad]
In each one of the steps that I take,
In each one of the sips that I drink,
In each one of the firmans that I read
Rab’s word is valid.
Meryem [Virgin Mary] and Fatima;
Both saints follow their footprints and
And they are in my Rab’s word. [they are under the command of my Rab]
They chat about humans, about languages,
They share with the ones who love,
They work to make close friend come together with Close Friend.
At a table with Kaygusuz, [Kaygusuz=Sufi saint who lived in the 15th century; word meaning of “kaygusuz” is “without worry”]
We ate morsel, we drank water,
We also chose the fortress of close friend.
That fortress
Is the fortress of Hodja Ahmet Yesevi,
It is the tower of selection of humans.
Time keeps on turning,
The one who is not human, hits and hits again.
Them, they can not reach that fortress,
They can not hit the one who is human.
I have no crown, no throne, he said,
Hazrat Ali took the word.
I have destiny like human,
I have promise for the ones who are human.
Four corners belong to the universe,
Each hug embraces the universe.
Let us be not independent but without knot.
Let us love each human with his/her own state [situation].
To humanity, let us praise our Rab’s commands.
The ones who know His book are the ones
Who first know themselves
Then their Rab.
The ones who know their Rab
Are the ones who praise who/what comes from Him.
HE is your Rab,
[HE is] My Rab.
HE is The Rab
Of every human whom HE created,
[HE is The Rab] Of every creation.
HE is The One Who sees,
HE is The One Who knows you better than you [know yourself].
The one that is in your heart,
To present [it] to Him,
Do never use any intermediary.
[The above verses may be better understood under the light of the following information: Allah created/creates the matter by transforming some of HIS LIGHT into matter. Everything that is visible to human’s earth eye, including human’s body, is indeed Him in the form of His Matter. Therefore, whatever human thinks, feels, intends, HE knows it instantaneously, without any need for human to express it through his/her matter body, let alone using any other person as intermediary…]
At the door of Hodja,
We said, “Greeting,” we stopped.
We took our step,
We moved on his path;
He stood in front of us,
He gave his greeting. [he greeted us]
He said:
Find the stone of ground floor,
From there look at your surrounding.
What you will see, put [it] in your mind.
We came to earth’s center:
We [are] in center,
Center [is] in us,
Hodja Nasreddin [is] in word.
Each one who comes [to earth], he/she laughs and comes, [to laugh==to follow the footprints of Prophet Mohammad]
Each one who goes [to after earth life], he/she laughs and goes.
Is it because of the essence of the center?
Is it because of His word that is in human’s mind?
“Solve this puzzle” he said.
I said:
We came not to solve puzzle
But to see The Reality.
“No,” he said,
I have not been able to learn The Reality yet, [because The Reality is not learned but perceived and reached through heart...]
From which path does IT come to you?
You can not count the stars that are in the sky.
You can not peel all the fruits that are on the tree.
You can not put into your mind the one that is not given.
Add the day to day,
Wait for tomorrows, he said, he greeted.
The greeting of each one who came, has been with us,
Each one of them and us, we greeted one another,
We became happy,
We became blessed.
Let selam [peace/greeting] be, let selam be, let selam be.
Allahu Ekber [Allah is The Greatest], Allahu Ekber, Allahu Ekber.
Lailaheillallah Muhammeden Resulullah. [Allah is The only One to be worshiped; we wish to YOU and to Your Representative Mohammad.]
