IN THE NAME OF ALLAH, THE MOST MERCIFUL, THE MOST COMPASSIONATE
The one who works on Hak’s path,
The one who comes together in hearts,
The one who makes saints’ word [teachings] come together
In his/her personality:
His/her place, his/her home is in order,
Each wish of his/hers is in The One Who writes.
If the one who knows, the one who does not know come,
If he/she asks [about] the one that is right [correct],
We will say:
You have to conform to HIS order [command],
You have to find HIS path,
You have to open your hands to HIM. [you have to worship HIM]
HE does not leave you to you,
HE does not give permission to the one
Who tries to put stone on your path.
If we set intention up
To come together with Mevlana,
To chat with Yunus,
The answers that we will get
Are worth of gold. [gold==spiritual meaning]
Mevlana said,
If you present one sip of [spiritual] water to the one who wishes,
Your Rab makes you reach the spring [source of the water],
Makes you come together with HIS close friends.
Yunus Emre said,
At each step that you take,
If you look at the blessings of Rab
And seek His “hikmets,” [hikmet=1. wisdom. 2. philosophy. 3. real meaning, hidden meaning. 4. purpose, point. 5. the unknowable intentions of God.]
Paths open to you,
One passes every passage.
Meryem and Fatima [Meryem=Virgin Mary]
Came while chatting,
Found while sharing.
They made their love be shared by both the surrounding
And the universe.
Without saying “yours-mine,”
Without eating “haram” morsel, [haram=forbidden by religion, unlawful, wrong]
They put the cooked food on the table.
My Merkez said,
Both the existence of them
Makes us eternal,
And [at the same time] the difficulty of their paths
Makes us sad.
However, he said,
Hazrat Ali put the point:
Love cleans every path,
Purifies the hearts.
The ones who love the creation,
HE shelters [them] at His place that is longed for.
If my Rab created the universe
From HIS Love,
[then] In every particle that HE created
HIS Love is present.
It is sufficient that
We are able to come together with HIM,
We are able to work with HIM,
We are able to share with the ones who are from HIM.
If you have trouble,
Wish for remedy to HIM.
I came from the path of The Beautiful One,
I held the hand of the one who loves, I said.
Rabia came to our table.
She said,
Tables are open, will stay open,
Hearts are open, will fill with love.
Each being that you love, will stay in your hand. [will become part of you]
You will thank my Rab.
Yourself, you will know The One Who is in yourself.
Let you say, “My Rab,”
Let you know to add love to your love.
Let you pray saying:
“Do not leave me without YOU my Allah.”
Hadji Bayram
[is] In order [orderliness],
[is] In The One Who wrote his destiny,
[is] In the one who gains experience [who takes lesson]
From each folk song that he/she hears.
He said,
Each work that you share for close friend
Means happiness for me.
If you share your morsel
Without saying “skinny-fat,”
You become noble in both worlds [i.e. on earth and in after earth life],
As such you chat with HIS saints.
In the saddlebag of Lokman
I saw three leaves.
One was quince, one [was] walnut, one [was] grapevine.
If you boil each one of the leaves
[together] With lemon leaf,
It cleans your blood.
I asked Lokman:
By drinking? By pouring?
He said,
You drink [as much as] one tea glass,
The rest you pour from your head downwards. [the rest you apply topically]
It cleans your blood, it is good for allergy.
It has no harm,
Its usefulness is a lot.
They said, “Greeting,” they came,
They wished for salvation.
Let selam [peace/greeting] be, let selam be, let selam be.
Allahu Ekber [Allah is The Greatest], Allahu Ekber, Allahu Ekber.
Lailaheillallah Muhammeden Resulullah. [Allah is The only One to be worshiped; we wish to YOU and to Your Representative Mohammad.]
